 ՀՀ ԶՈՒ հոգևոր սպասավորության կազմավորման 20-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված միջոցառումների շրջանակում հոկտեմբերի 10-ին, Սբ. Էջմիածնում անցկացվել է խաչվառների հանձնման հանդիսավոր արարողակարգ, որի ընթացքում Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը օրհնել և ԶՈՒ զորամիավորումների ու զորատեսակների հրամանատարներին է հանձնել Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու սրբերի անունները կրող պահպանիչ խաչվառներ, որոնցից յուրաքանչյուրը հանդիսանում է տվյալ զորատեսակի բարեխոս և պահպանիչ սուրբը:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ՊՆ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Հայրապետական ողջույնն ու օրհնությունը փոխանցելով ներկաներին`  Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ-ն մասնավորապես նշել է. «Քրիստոնեությունը հաղթության և զորության կրոն է, որը բացահայտում է առ Աստված հավատքի մեծագույն ուժը: Աստծո զորակցությունը մենք զգացել ենք Ավարայրից մինչև Սարդարապատ ու Արցախ՝ գիտակցելով, որ զինվորն ենք Քրիստոսի, զինվորը արդարության, խաղաղության ու ամեն բարեգործի: Քրիստոսի եկեղեցին այս աշխարհի վրա կոչվում է զինվորյալ եկեղեցի, որի հաղթության նշանն է խաչվառը»:

Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը, ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետ, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Մովսես Հակոբյանը, զորամավորումների և զորատեսակների հրամանատարները, այլ բաձրաստիճան սպաներ, զինծառայողներ:
