Սան Պեդրո Սուլան կայուն կերպով ներառվում է աշխարհի ամենավտանգավոր քաղաքների եռյակում: Սպանությունների թվով 700 հազարանոց քաղաքում 100 հազար բնակչի հաշվարկով սպանվում է 170 մարդ: Օրինակ՝ Նորվեգիայում ու Շվեյցարիայում այդ թիվը 0,5 է:
Սան Պեդրո Սուլայի բախտը չի բերել: Քաղաքը գտնվում է գրեթե Գվատեմալայի սահմանի հարևանությամբ ու վերածվել է թմրավաճառության համաշխարհային մայրաքաղաքի:
Ցերեկը քաղաքում բավական անվտանգ է, եթե հաշվի չառնենք այն շրջանները, որտեղ կարող են սպանել հեռախոսի համար:
