Օրերս պարզ դարձավ, որ Վրաստանը մերժել է քաղաքագետ Սերգեյ Մինասյանին իրենց երկրում դեսպան ընդունել: Երկար ժամանակ է սպասվում էր Մինասյանի նշանակումը Վրաստանում ՀՀ դեսպանի պաշտոնում: Թվարկվող պաշտոնական և ոչ պաշտոնական հնարավոր տարբերակների մեջ նշվում է, որ Մինասյանը ծագումով Ջավախքից է, Ջավախքի հարցին վերաբերվող մտքերում խոսել է ռուսական ներգրավվածության մասին, ընդհանրապես նրա մոտեցումներում պրո-ռուսականության դրսևորումներ կան:

Այս միջադեպը հավակնում է փոքրիկ դիվանագիտական սկանդալ դառնալ, մանավանդ օրերս Ջավախքի գյուղերից մեկում տեղի ունեցած հայտնի միջադեպի կոնտեքստում: Ստացվում է, որ Մինասյանի թեկնածությունը ներքին խողովակներով չի ճշգրտվել վրացական դիվանագիտական ապարատի հետ, և միայն պաշտոնական գործընթացի ժամանակ է Վրաստանը սկսել ուսումնասիրել Սերգեյ Մինասյանին: 

Այլ հարց է, արդյոք վրացական կողմի պնդումները համապատասխանում են իրականությանը, թե ոչ: Բայց այն, որ նրանք չեն ցանկանում հայ-վրացական հարաբերություններում երրորդ կողմի, այս դեպքում ռուսական կողմի հետք տեսնել և բավականին սկզբունքային են այդ հարցում, ողջունելի է: Ողջունելի է, որովհետև Հայաստանն, օրինակ, այդ երրորդ հետքը չեզոքացնելու հետ խնդիր ունի: Ժամանակին Վրաստանից արտաքսած Վոլինկինն, օրինակ, հիմա Հայաստանում ՌԴ դեսպանն է:

Ստացվում է այնպես, որ պատահաբար կամ միտումնավոր հայ-վրացական հարաբերություններում վերջին օրերին մի քանի թյուրիմացություն հիշեցնող իրավիճակներ են ի հայտ գալիս: Եթե այս իրավիճակները հաճախակիանան, կարող ենք խոսել այդ ամենում կամ համակարգային սխալի կամ էլ իսկապես երրորդ կողմի ձեռքի առկայության մասին:
