Հարավային Կովկասում ԵԱՀԿ Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Քրիստիան Վիգենինը (Բուլղարիա) հոկտեմբերի 2-ին տարածել է հաղորդագրություն՝ հերքելով ադրբեջանական մի շարք լրատվամիջոցներում տեղ գտած ապատեղեկատվությունը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի վերաբերյալ իր հայտարարության մասին:
«Ադրբեջան կատարած իմ վերջին այցի ընթացքում տեղական լրատվամիջոցները սխալ են մեջբերել իմ խոսքը: Թեպետ անմիջապես պահանջվել է շտկել սխալը և այն ուղղվել է, սակայն մի շարք լրատվական աղբյուրներ արդեն օգտագործել են ոչ ստույգ տեղեկությունը: Հետևաբար` ես ստիպված եմ կրկնել, որ երբեք չեմ առաջարկել վերակազմավորել Մինսկի խումբը: Ես աջակցում եմ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի և համանախագահների միջնորդական ջանքերին ու շարունակելու եմ աշխատել խորհրդարանական մակարդակում՝ նպաստելու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման որոնման նրանց ջանքերին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասվում է Վիգենինի հայտարարության մեջ:
