Թուրքիային պաշտպանության նախարարի հայտարարությունները նորություն չեն, ևս մեկ անգամ ապացուցեց, որ Թուրքիան անելիք չունի Արցախի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում: Այսօր ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո նման հայտարարություն արեց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն՝ անդրադառնալով Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարար Նուրեթթին Ջանիքլին հայտարարությանը, թե Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի Զինված ուժերը միասնական են և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում պատրաստ են ամեն կերպ աջակցել միմյանց: 

«Թուրքիան չի կարող ներգրաված լինել Արցախի հանրապետության կարգավորման հարցում, որովհետև Թուրքիան հստակ ադրբեջանամետ  դիրքորոշում ունի, ինչպես նաև թե՛ ռազմական, թե՛ քաղաքական, թե ՛ տնտեսական օժանդակություն է ցույց տվել Ադրբեջանին և այլն։ Թուրքիան այն պետություն է, որն սատարել է Ադրբեջանի հանցագործ քաղաքականությունն Ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ: Նման հայտարարությամբ Թուրքիայի ՊՆ ևս մեկ անգամ ապացուցում է, որ Ադրբեջանը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան թուրքական հանրապետությունը և քարտեզի վրա առաջացել է 1918 թվականի մայիսի 27 –ին` թուրք Նուրի փաշայի զինվորական ինտերվենցիայի արդյունքում»,- շարունակեց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է Թուրքայի ՊՆ նախարարի  հայտարարության այն հատվածին, թե, անպայման, պետք է ազատագրել «օկուպացված» Ղարաբաղը, ԱԺ փոխնախագահն ասաց. «Ղարաբաղում չկան օկուպացված տարածքներ, Ադրբեջանն է օկուպացրել Արցախի տարածքները, իսկ Թուրքիան բոլորի աչքի առաջ օրը ցերեկով օկուպացրեց ԵՄ անդամ երկրի՝ Կիպրոսի 38 տոկոսը, ով-ով, բայց գոնե Թուրքիան չպիտի խոսի օկուպացիայից»,-եզրափակեց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Բաքվում գտնվող Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարար Նուրեթթին Ջանիքլին հայտարարել է, թե Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի Զինված ուժերը միասնական են և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում պատրաստ են ամեն կերպ աջակցել միմյանց։

Իսկ ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Շավարշ Քոչարյանը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիան շարունակում է միջամտել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրի հարցում, ինչն էլ թույլ չի տալիս կարգավորման գործընթացում առաջընթաց արձանագրել։
