Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի հետ միասին այցելել է օրթոպեդիայի, սպորտային վնասվածքաբանության և ողնաշարի վիրաբուժության նորաբաց ժամանակակից կենտրոն, որը հիմնադրվել է Հայաստանում դեռևս 2015թ.-ից գործունեություն ծավալած «Ուիգմոր Քլինիք» ընկերության կողմից։ Բժշկական կենտրոնը ստեղծվել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայում գործող «Ուիգմոր Մեդիքալ» ընկերության մեթոդական և ֆինանսական ներդրումների շնորհիվ: Այն տեղակայված է մայրաքաղաքի կենտրոնում՝ պատմամշակութային արժեք ունեցող` Պուշկին 56 հասցեում գտնվող հիմնովին վերանորոգված շենքում, որը 1880-ական թվականներից սկսած մշտապես ծառայել է Հայաստանի առողջապահական համակարգին: Հանրապետության Նախագահը Երևանի քաղաքապետի հետ միասին շրջայց է կատարել «Ուիգմոր Քլինիք» ընկերության նորաբաց բժշկական կենտրոնում, ծանոթացել իրականացված աշխատանքներին և առողջապահական որակյալ ծառայություններ մատուցելու նպատակով ստեղծված պայմաններին, հիմնադիրների և բուժանձնակազմի հետ զրուցել հաստատության ընթացիկ գործունեության և առաջիկա ծրագրերի մասին:

Նախագահին ներկայացվել է, որ ժամանակակից անհրաժեշտ բժշկական բոլոր սարքավորումներով հագեցած «Ուիգմոր Քլինիք»-ը համապատասխանեցվել է հիվանդանոցաշինության միջազգային չափանիշներին, հաստատությունում ներդրվել են պացիենտների վարման գործելակարգեր և ուղեցույցներ:
Կենտրոնի հիմնման ծրագրի ընդհանուր արժեքը 4.3 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար է, որից 3.8 մլն դոլարն արդեն իսկ ներդրվել է: Պատասխանատուների հավաստմամբ՝ մինչև 2017թ.-ի ավարտը նախատեսվում է ձեռք բերել ևս 500 հազ. դոլարի բժշկական սարքավորում և գույք՝ կենտրոնի երկրորդ վիրահատարանը կահավորելու համար:
