Շախմատի Հայաստանի հավաքականի առաջատար Լևոն Արոնյանը կրկին ոչ-ոքի խաղաց Դին Լիժենի հետ:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Թբիլիսում ընթացող շախմատի աշխարհի գավաթի խաղարկության եզրափակիչ դասական երրորդ պարտիան ավարտվեց ոչ-ոքի արդյունքով: Արոնյանը խաղում էր սպիտակ խաղաքարերով: Պարտիայի 31-րդ քայլին գրոսմայստերները համաձայնեցին կիսել միավորը: Այժմ շախմատիստներն ունեն 1,5-ական միավոր:

Աշխարհի Գավաթի խաղարկությունն անցկացվում է սեպտեմբերի 2-28-ը: Հանգստյան օրերն են սեպտեմբերի 18-ը և 22-ը: Մրցաշարն անցկացվում է նոկաուտ համակարգով՝ մրցախաղում պարտվողը դուրս է մնում հետագա պայքարից: Խաղարկությանը մասնակցում են 128 շախմատիստ: Աշխարհի գրեթե բոլոր ուժեղագույն շախմատիստները՝ Մագնուս Կարլսենը, Լևոն Արոնյանը, Մաքսիմ Վաշիե-Լագրավը, Ուեսլի Սոն, Վլադիմիր Կրամնիկը, Հիկարու Նակամուրան, Շահրիյար Մամեդյարովը, Ալեքսանդր Գրիշչուկը, Վիշվանաթան Անանդը, Դին Լիժենը, Յու Յանյին, Սերգեյ Կարյակինը, Անիշ Գիրին, Վեյ Յին, Լի Չաոն, Ռադոսլավ Վոյտաշեկը, Յան Նեպոմնյաշչին, Պյոտր Սվիդլերը,Պենտալա Հարիկրիշնան, Մայքլ Ադամսը, մասնակցում են մրցաշարին: Ընդհանուր մրցանակային ֆոնդը կազմում 1.600.000 ԱՄՆ դոլար: Բացի եզրափակչից (խաղարկվելու է 4 պարտիա), բոլոր փուլերի մրցախաղերը բաղկացած են 2 պարտիայից և անցնում են հետևյալ ժամակարգով՝ 90 րոպե առաջին 40 քայլի համար, այնուհետև 30 րոպե հավելում, առաջին քայլից սկսած յուրաքանչյուր քայլի համար 30 վայրկյան հավելումով: Մրցախաղում ոչ-ոքիի դեպքում խաղարկվում է թայ-բրեյք՝ 2 պարտիա 25 րոպե + 10 վայրկյան յուրաքանչյուր քայլի համար ժամակարգով, կրկին ոչ-ոքիի դեպքում՝ 2 պարտիա 10 րոպե + 10 վայրկյան յուրաքանչյուր քայլի համար, կրկին հավասար արդյունքի դեպքում ևս 2 պարտիա՝ 5 րոպե + 3 վայրկյան յուրաքանչյուր քայլի համար: Այս մրցախաղում ոչ-ոքիի դեպքում խաղարկվում է որոշիչ պարտիա (արմագեդոն), որտեղ սպիտակներին տրվում է 5 րոպե, իսկ սևերին 4 րոպե՝ 61-րդ քայլից սկսած յուրաքանչյուր քայլի համար 3 վայրկյան հավելումով: Որոշիչ պարտիայում ոչ-ոքիի դեպքում հաղթող է ճանաչվում սևերով խաղացող շախմատիստը: Համաձայն ՖԻԴԵ-ի կանոնադրության` Աշխարհի Գավաթում 1-ին և 2-րդ հորիզոնականները զբաղեցրած շախմատիստներն իրավունք կստանան մասնակցելու հավակնորդների մրցաշարին:
