ՀՀ ԱԻՆ փրկարարները ներգրավված են սեպտեմբերի 24-30-ը Բոսնիա և Հերցեգովինայում անցկացվող ՆԱՏՕ-ի միջազգային դաշտային վարժանքին: «Բոսնիա և Հերցեգովինա 2017» խորագրով վարժանքը կազմակերպվել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի Աղետների արձագանքման համակարգման եվրաատլանտյան կենտրոնի (EADRCC) կողմից: 

Տարերային աղետների հետևանքների վերացման 18-րդ միջազգային դաշտային վարժանքին այս տարի մասնակցում է 30 երկիր: ՀՀ ԱԻՆ պատվիրակության կազմում կա 22 փրկարար, որոնք ներկայացնում են ՓԾ բնակչության պաշտպանության և աղետների հետևանքների վերացման կազմակերպման ու փրկարարական ուժերի վարչությունները, Աղետների բժշկության կենտրոնը, հատուկ ջրափրակարար ջոկատը և Շիրակի մարզային փրկարարական վարչությունը: 

Սեպտեմբերի 25-ին տեղի ունեցած բացման արարողությանը պաշտոնապես ազդարարվել է «Բոսնիա և Հերցեգովինա 2017» խորագրով վարժանքի մեկնարկը: 

Ըստ վարժանքի սցենարի՝ Բոսնիա-Հերցեգովինայի հյուսիս-արևելքում հորդառատ անձրևների հետևանքով գետերը վարարել են, կա ջրամբարների փլուզման վտանգ և մերձակա բնակավայրերին սպառնում է ջրհեղեղը: Լեռան լանջերին սողանքների պատճառով մոտակա շինությունները փլուզվում են, կան պայմանական զոհեր ու տուժածներ: Սցենարի համաձայն՝ աղետի հաջորդ օրը գրանցվում է նաև ուժեղ երկրաշարժ՝ հանգեցնելով մարդկային և նյութական մեծ կորուստների: Երկրի իշխանություններն օգնության խնդրանքով դիմում են միջազգային հանրությանը: 

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարությունից, ՆԱՏՕ-ի Աղետների արձագանքման համակարգման եվրաատլանտյան կենտրոնը (EADRCC) նմանատիպ վարժանք է կազմակերպում ամեն տարի: 2010 թ. վարժանքն անցկացվել է Հայաստանում, և մասնակցել է 20 երկիր:
