 ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը սեպտեմբերի 22-ին մասնակցել է Հայ-Ամերիկյան առողջության կենտրոնի հիմնադրման 20-ամյակին նվիրված միջոցառմանը, որին ներկա էին ՀՀ առաջին տիկին Ռիտա Սարգսյանը, ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Լեւոն Ալթունյանը, ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը, գործարար ու բարերար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Խորհրդարանի նախագահը, շնորհավորելով Հայաստանի անկախության 26-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ՝ նշել է, որ անկախությունից են սկիզբ առել հայ ժողովրդի նորագույն պատմության բազմաթիվ ձեռքբերումներ, որոնց թվում նաեւ առողջապահության ոլորտում: Դրանցից մեկն էլ Հայ-Ամերիկյան կենտրոնն է իր բարձրակարգ բուժանձնակազմով եւ հոյակերտ շինությամբ:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի խոսքով` Հայ-Ամերիկյան առողջության կենտրոնն իր գոյությամբ առաջին հերթին պարտական է նրանց, ում ջանքերով եւ նյութական ու բարոյական աջակցությամբ Հայաստանի առողջապահական համակարգը երկու տասնամյակ առաջ համալրվեց նոր կառույցով:

Արա Բաբյոյանը նշել է նաեւ, որ ինքը եւս, ժամանակին լինելով ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար, մասնակցել է կենտրոնի ստեղծմանը եւ անձամբ է ճանաչում կենտրոնի հիմնադիրներ Ռիտա Պալյանին, Հրանուշ Հակոբյանին, Խաչանուշ Հակոբյանին, ինչպես նաեւ բուժանձնակազմի անդամներից շատերին:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ նրանց մասնագիտական բարձր կարողությունները նպաստում են մեր բնակչության առողջության եւ կյանքի որակի բարելավմանը:

Հայ-Ամերիկյան առողջության կենտրոնի 20-ամյակի առթիվ խորհրդարանի ղեկավարը պարգեւատրել է կենտրոնի հիմնադիր Ռիտա Պալյանին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատվոգրով, իսկ կենտրոնի տնօրեն Խաչանուշ Հակոբյանին՝ ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահի հուշամեդալով:
