Էդուարդո Էռնեկյանը երեկ ազգային հերոսի կոչում ստացավ Սերժ Սարգսյանից, ինչը բուռն քննարկումների տեղիք տվեց: Արգենտինահայ բիզնեսմենը հանդիսանում է Զվարթնոց օդանավակայանի սեփականատերը, ինչպես նաև բազմաթիվ այլ բիզնեսներ ունի Հայաստանում: Գուցե նրա գործարար հմտություններն ու ներդրումն ահռելի են Հայաստանի համար: Սա այլ քննարկման թեմա է: Իսկապես, չի բացառվում, որ տնտեսության մեջ նա արել է բաներ, որոնք ուրիշները չէին անի կամ չեն կարողացել անել: Գուցե նրա վաստակն այն է, որ նա արժանի է բարձր պարգևների ու երախտագիտության:

Բայց ազգային հերոսի կոչում տալիս են ոչ թե տնտեսական ներդրումների համար, այլ պետության, անկախության ձևավորման, ազգի կայացման կենսական հարցերում ունեցած ներդրումների: Սա բնավ չի խանգարում Էռնեկյանին մրցանակ տալ, կամ ստեղծել առանձին անվանակարգ, որով տնտեսության մեջ ներդրումներ ունեցողները կստանան բարձր պարգևներ: Բայց պետք չէ խառնել լրիվ տարբեր բաներ: Եվ սա չի նշանակում, թե այդ տարբեր բաները մեկը մյուսից ստորադաս կամ վերադաս են: Բնավ այդպես չէ:

Խնդիրն այն է, թե ինչպիսի հերոսների «դիցարան» է սահմանում պետությունը, ինչ սկզբունքով: Մոնթե Մելքոնյանն ու Վազգեն Սարգսյանը նույն շարքում դասվում են, բայց Էռնեկյանը ոչ: Ոչ թե որ լավ կամ վատ մարդ է, ոչ թե որ կռվել է պատերազմում կամ չի կռվել, այլ որովհետև զբաղված է տրամագծորեն տարբեր գործունեությամբ: Իսկ սա առանձնացնել է պետք, որպեսզի պետական քաղաքականության ու արժեհամակարգի մեջ աջաբ սանդալ չառաջանա:
