Այն փաստը, որ սփյուռքահայերից շատերը Հայաստանում հանդիպում են բազմաթիվ դժվարությունների, շատ քննարկվեց այս օրերին: Առիթը՝ Հայաստան-Սփյուռք 6-րդ համաժողովն էր: Ճառ ասողներն ինչպես միշտ շատ են, բայց զանգ կախողները ՝ քիչ: Կարելի է անվերջ ու գեղեցիկ խոսել այն մասին, թե ինչքան կարևոր է Սփյուռքը Հայաստանի, Հայաստանն էլ ՝ Սփյուռքի համար: Խոսել այն մասին, որ պետք են ճիշտ ներդրումներ սփյուռքից, պետք է ներգաղթ կազմակերպել և այլն: Բայց պրակտիկ կյանքում ամեն ինչ այլ է և հաճախ սիմվոլիկ միջոցառումերից այս կողմ որևէ բան տեղի չի ունենում:
 
Օրերս Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը լիբանանահայ մի խումբ երիտասարդների անձամբ հայտնել էր, որ փոխհատուցելու է նրանց ուսման վարձը: Խոսքը այն ուսանողների մասին է, որոնք կրթություն են ստանալու Հայաստանում: Այն, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը բազմաթիվ անգամներ է օգնության ձեռք մեկնել տարբեր սոցիալական խավեր ներկայացնող մարդկանց, նորություն չէ: Այս ծրագիրը, որով լիբանանահայ երիտասարդները ազատորեն կարողանում են կրթություն ստանալ Հայաստանում, երկու տարվա պատմություն ունի: Նախաձեռնությունը առավել կարևորվում է Հայաստանի և Սփյուռքի միջև հարաբերությունների զարգացման մասին քննարկումների ֆոնին:
 
Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը հերթական անգամ իր պրագմատիկ մոտեցումներով ցույց է տալիս խոսքից գործ անցնելու ճանապարհը: Օժանդակելով լիբանանահայ ուսանողներին նա հնարավորություն է տալիս նրանց ոչ միայն կրթվել հայրենիքում, այլև ներգաղթի հնարավորություն է բացում այդ երիտասարդների ու նրանց ընտանիքների համար: Սա նաև շանս է սփյուռքահայ ուսանողների համար ՝ Հայաստանում կրթվելով ինտեգրվել մեր երկրի միջավայրին, կտրվել տեսական ու վերցական պատկերացումներից ու առավել կոնկրետ տեսնել Հայաստանի հնարավորությունները: Եվ այս իմաստով նորություն է ոչ թե Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի կողմից պարբերական դարձած օժանդակության փաստը, այլ այն, որ այս օժանդակությամբ Ծառուկյանը հերթական անգամ դրսևորում է կառուցողական մոտեցում, ցույց է տալիս գեղեցիկ մտքերը իրականություն դարձնելու իրական ճանապարհը:
