ՀՀ վարչապետն ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների հետ քննարկել է հայ-ամերիկյան տնտեսական համագործակցությունը և Արցախյան հիմնախնդիրը

 ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը սեպտեմբերի 19-ին ընդունել է Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի պատվիրակությանը, որի կազմում են Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերով հանձնախմբի համանախագահներ Ֆրենկ Փալոնը, Դեյվիդ Վալըդեյոն և Ջեքի Սփայերը, կոնգրեսականներ Աննա Էշուն, Թալսի Գաբարդը և Ջեյմս Սենսենբրեները:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների գործունեությունը տարբեր ոլորտներում հայ-ամերիկյան բարեկամական հարաբերությունների զարգացման ու ամրապնդման գործում և շնորհակալություն հայտնել ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսին, հատկապես Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերով հանձնախմբին` Հայաստանին ու Արցախին արտաքին հատկացումների տրամադրման համար:

Կառավարության ղեկավարն ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների հետ քննարկել է երկու երկրների միջև տնտեսական  համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր: Ներդրումների խրախուսման տեսանկյունից վարչապետը կարևորել է Առևտրի և ներդրումների շրջանակային համաձայնագրի ստորագրումը, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի և կառավարության կողմից Հայաստանի ընդգրկումը «GSP» համակարգի արտոնություններ օգտագործող երկրների շարքում: Կարեն Կարապետյանն արդյունավետ է գնահատել նաև Հայաստանի և Ամերիկայի միջև շարունակական համագործակցությունը տեղեկատվական և բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում, որտեղ արդեն մի շարք հաջողված ծրագրեր կան:

Կողմերը մտքեր են փոխանակել առևտրատնտեսական ոլորտը կարգավորող իրավապայմանագրային դաշտի կատարելագործման շուրջ՝ մասնավորապես քննարկելով կրկնակի հարկումը բացառելու համաձայնագրի ստորագրմանն առնչվող հարցեր: Երկկողմ տնտեսական կապերի հետագա խթանման համատեքստում վարչապետ Կարապետյանը կարևորել է նաև Հայ-ամերիկյան միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի ակտիվ աշխատանքը:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցին: Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը խնդրի լուծումը տեսնում է բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորման մեջ և կարևորել է ԱՄՆ-ի՝ որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրի շարունակական ջանքերն այդ գործընթացում: «Մենք մեր ռազմավարությունը կառուցում ենք այնպես, որ պարտավոր ենք լինել ուժեղ, որպեսզի մեր անվտանգությունն ապահովենք: Կարծում եմ, որ մեր տարածաշրջանում կատարվող իրադարձությունները շատ պարզ ու թափանցիկ են, և մեզ օգտակար կլինի, եթե միջազգային հանրությունը, տեսնելով այդ ամենը, իր հստակ վերաբերմունքն արտահայտի», - նշել է կառավարության ղեկավարը:
