Կարո Փայլանը խոստանում է շարունակել պայքարը Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչմանը հասնելու համար

Միայն ժողովրդավար Թուրքիան կարող է ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: «Հայաստան-Սփյուռք» 6-րդ համաժողովի շրջանակներում իր ելույթում նման կարծիք հայտնեց Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանի հայազգի պատգամավոր Կարո Փայլանը: «Մենք վերք ունենք, որը դեռ անբուժելի է, և գիտենք, որ այդ վերքը միայն այս երկրի մեջ է բուժվելու՝ Թուրքիայի, Անատոլիայի մեջ: Միայն ժողովրդավար Թուրքիան կարող է ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, միայն ժողովրդավար Թուրքիան կարող է բացել հայ-թուրքական սահմանը: Եթե Թուրքիան ժողովրդավար չդառնա, կարող ենք տասնամյակներ սպասել: Իրավունք ունե՞նք մեր սերունդներին փոխանցել այս հարցը. ոչ, իրավունք չունենք: Մենք լավ գիտենք, և չորս սերունդ ի վեր պայքարում ենք, որպեսզի մեր պապերի և հայրերի ապրած անարդարությունն արդար լուծում ունենա»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Փայլանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ 102 տարի առաջ Օսմանյան կայսրությունում մեծ ոճիր է տեղի ունեցել, և այդ ոճիրը հիմա էլ է շարունակվում, որովհետև, երբ ցանկացած ոճիր անպատիժ է մնում, դրան նորերն են հետևում: «Ես հավատում եմ, որ մենք մի օր հասնելու ենք արդարության, երբ կճանաչվի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը և շարունակելու եմ պայքարել դրա համար»,- նշեց Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանի հայազգի պատգամավորը:

Կարո Փայլանը նշեց, որ ինքը քրդական Ժողովրդա-դեմոկրատական կուսակցության իր ընկերների հետ տասնամյակներ շարունակ պայքարել են Թուրքիայում ժողովրդավարություն հաստատելու համար: «Իրականում ժողովրդավարության համար պայքարը շատ դժվար է: Եվ վերջին երկու տարիներին մենք տեսանք, որ ավելի հեշտ է հաղթում ազգայնականությունը: Դա տեսավ նաև Էրդողանը, և, ցավոք, Էրդողանը գնաց հենց այդ ճանապարհով»,- ասաց նա:

Փայլանը շեշտեց, որ Թուրքիայի նոր Սահմանադրությունը, որով երկիրն անցել է կառավարման նախագահական համակարգի, իրականում  ծառայում է մեկ անձի նպատակների իրագործման համար: «Ես Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանում ասել եմ, որ մեծ սխալ է տեղի ունեցել: Ես դեմ եմ արտահայտվել: 104 տարի առաջ էլ Օսմանյան Կայսրությունում նույն բանը տեղի ունեցավ: Թալեաթ և Էնվեր փաշաները հեղափոխությունից հետո նոր Սահմանադրություն բերեցին, և այն մարդիկ, ովքեր համաձայն չէին դրա հետ երկու տարբերակ ունեին՝ լռել կամ պայքարել: Սկսվեց Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը և ընդամենը 1 տասնամյակի ընթացքում 4 ժողովուրդ կոտորվեց՝ հայերը, հույները, ասորիները, հրեաները: Հիմա Թուրքիայի նոր Սահմանադրության պայմաններում կրկին կարող ենք նույն աղետն ապրել: Նույնիսկ այսօր, դժբախտաբար ապրում ենք»,- ընդգծեց Փայլանը:

Նա նկատեց, որ Թուրքիայի Հանրապետությունը հիմնվել է առանց Հայոց ցեղասպանության հետ առերեսվելու: Փայլանի խոսքով՝ պետությունը, որը իր գործած ոճիրների համար հաշիվ չի տալիս 100 տարի անց, շարունակելու է ոճիր գործել:
