Վարչապետ Կարապետյանի նշանակման առաջին օրվանից մինչև վերջերս անընդհատ հնչում է վարչապետին չեն թողնում աշխատի թեզը: Այս թեզը շատ արագ ընդունվեց և գեներացվեց նաև վարչապետի թիմի կողմից: Սա պարտվողական ֆոն է և անհասկանալի է, թե ինչու վարչապետի թիմը այս մոտեցումը գցեց շրջանառության մեջ: Նպատակը պարզ ՝ ապահովագրվել անհաջողություններից: Այդ մոտեցումն աշխատեց մասամբ ՝ Կարապետյանի հանդեպ կա խղճահարություն, նա ընկալվում է որպես Սերժ Սարգսյանի հերթական քաղաքական զոհը: Բայց մյուս կողմից այս մոտեցումը Կարապետյանին թուլացնում է մարդկանց աչքերում: 

Եվ այս մոտեցումը շատ լավ կարող է տեղավորվել նահանջի ճանապարհ նախապատրաստելիս: Բայց ոչ հարձակման անցնելիս: Եթե Կարեն Կարապետյանի խնդիրը պարզապես անձայն հեռանալն է, ապա որևէ խնդիր չկա: Այդ թեզը կաշխատի և հանրային համակրանքը կօգնի նվազեցնել նրա հանդեպ քննադատությունը: Բայց հարձակման, ասել է թե քաղաքական ռեալ մրցակցության դեպքում դա որևէ կերպ չի օգնի: 

Սերժ Սարգսյանն, ըստ էության, բացի ուժային կառույցներից, մնացած կառավարման լծակները տվել է Կարապետյանին: Կարապետյանին արտոնվել է ավելի շատ, քան Հայաստանի բոլոր վարչապետերին միասին վերցրած: Եթե վարչապետին չթողնեին աշխատել, նա չէր կարողանա ուղիղ հարվածներ հասցնել Սերժ Սարգսյանի նախընտրած օլիգարխների բիզնեսներին: Բայց այդ հարվածները հասցվել են: Կարապետյանին ոչ թե չեն թողնում աշխատի որպես վարչապետ, նրան խանգարում են որպեսզի նա 2018-ի ապրիլից հետո էլ մնա վարչապետ, նրան փորձում են չթողնել, որպեսզի վերցնի իշխանությունը Սարգսյանից:
