Կյանքից հեռացել է ՀՀ ԳԱԱ ակադեմիկոս Սերգեյ Մատինյանը

Սեպտեմբերի 9-ին կյանքից հեռացավ հայ անվանի գիտնական, ՀՀ ԳԱԱ ակադեմիկոս, ֆիզիկամաթեմատիկական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր Սերգեյ Հայկի Մատինյանը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Տեղեկատվական-վերլուծական ծառայությունից:
Մեծ է Սերգեյ Մատինյանի դերը հանրապետությունում տարրական մասնիկների տեսական ֆիզիկայի համաշխարհային մակարդակի դպրոցի ստեղծման և զարգացման գործընթացում: Ակադեմիկոս Մատինյանը հայտնաբերել է քվանտային քրոմոդինամիկայի վակուումի անկայունությունը, ինչպես նաև ոչ աբելյան տրամաչափական դաշտերի դինամիկ քաոսը: Նա կարևոր արդյունքներ է ստացել չեզոք Κ-մեզոնների օպտիկայի, վեկտորական մեզոնների ֆոտոծնման բնագավառներում։ Ակադեմիկոս Մատինյանի գիտական աշխատանքները վերաբերել են թույլ էլեկտրամագնիսական և ուժեղ փոխազդեցություններին, տարրական մասնիկների տեսությանը, դաշտի քվանտային տեսությանը, բարձր էներգիայի միջուկային ֆիզիկային, քվանտային հիդրոդինամիկային (գեր հոսունության տեսություն) և նեյտրոնային աստղաֆիզիկայի հարցերին։
Սերգեյ Մատինյանը ծնվել է 1931 թվականին` Թբիլիսիում: 1954 թվականին ավարտել է Թբիլիսիի համալսարանը։ 1968-1994 թվականներին եղել է Երևանի ֆիզիկայի ինստիտուտի տարրական մասնիկների տեսության լաբորատորիայի վարիչ, 1970-1994 թվականներին` նաև ինստիտուտի փոխտնօրեն։
Սերգեյ Մատինյանը մեծ ներդրում է ունեցել հանրապետության համար գիտական կադրերի պատրաստման գործում: Նա Հայաստանում ստեղծել է ֆիզիկոս տեսաբանների գիտական դպրոց: Սերգեյ Մատինյանի ղեկավարությամբ պաշտպանվել են բազմաթիվ թեկնածուական և դոկտորական ատենախոսություններ:
Բեղմնավոր գիտական գործունեության համար Սերգեյ Մատինյանը պարգևատրվել է Աշխատանքային Կարմիր Դրոշի շքանշանով:
Սերգեյ Մատինյանը 1994 թվականից տեղափոխվել է ԱՄՆ։
ՀՀ ԳԱԱ նախագահությունը ցավակցում է Սերգեյ Մատինյանի հարազատներին, մտերիմներին, գործընկերներին: Սերգեյ Մատինյանի հիշատակը միշտ վառ կմնա գիտության պատմության մեջ:
