ԵՐԵՎԱՆ, 11 ՍԵՊՏԵՄԲԵՐԻ, ԱՐՄԵՆՊՐԵՍ: ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ուղերձ է հղել Մխիթարյան միաբանության՝ Վենետիկի Սուրբ Ղազար կղզում հաստատվելու 300-ամյակի կապակցությամբ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից: Նախագահի ուղերձում ասվում է.
«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Շնորհավորում եմ բացառիկ պատմական իրադարձության՝ Մխիթարյան միաբանության՝ Վենետիկի Սուրբ Ղազար կղզում հաստատվելու 300-ամյակի կապակցությամբ: Դեռևս երեք դար առաջ հայ հոգևոր մտքի հսկա Մխիթար Սեբաստացին հիմնեց մի հաստատություն, որը դառնալու էր աշխարհին հայտնի հոգևոր, ուսումնակրթական, գրական և գիտամշակութային կենտրոն։
1701 թվականին հիմնվելուց ի վեր Մխիթարյան միաբանությունն անգնահատելի դեր է խաղացել հայապահպանության գործում, դարձել աշխարհում հայ ժողովրդի հեղինակավոր ներկայացուցչություն՝ իր մշակութային հարուստ ժառանգությամբ և հոգևոր մթնոլորտով հրապուրելով հայ և օտար աշխարհահռչակ մտավորականների:
Գտնվելով Եվրոպայի սրտում՝ Մխիթարյան միաբանությունը հայ մշակույթը հաղորդակից է դարձրել Արևմուտքին և փոխադարձաբար՝ արևմտյան մշակույթը` հայոց աշխարհին:
Բացառիկորեն մեծ է Մխիթարյան միաբանության ավանդը հայագիտության զարգացման գործում․ մեր հոգևոր հայրերը դարեր շարունակ վիթխարի աշխատանք են կատարել Միաբանության Մայրավանքի՝ աստվածառաք լույսով ողողված սենյակներում։ Դրա վկայությունն են գիտական ընդհանուր և ճյուղային բառարանները, թարգմանական և կրոնական, պատմական, լեզվաբանական, բնագիտական, տնտեսագիտական և այլ բնույթի աշխատությունները: Հետաքրքրական է, որ Միաբանությունը զարմանալի ներդաշնակությամբ և կատարելությամբ համատեղում է գիտության, մշակույթի, հոգևոր ժառանգության ոլորտները՝ միաժամանակ ունենալով թանգարանային յուրօրինակ միջավայր։ Միաբանության վանական համալիրում պահվող ձեռագրերն ու մատյանները ոչ միայն հայ մշակութային ժառանգության հարստության վկայություններն են, այլև համաշխարհային քաղաքակրթության նմուշներ:
Պատմականությունն ամրագրվում է ժամանակով․ Մխիթարյան միաբանությունն իր դարավոր գործունեությամբ դա լավագույնս փաստել է՝ հաղորդակից դարձնելով ազգայինը համամարդկայինին:
Խոնարհվելով մեր հոգևոր արժեքների պահպանության գործում Մխիթարյան միաբանության անձնուրաց նվիրման առջև՝ ցանկանում եմ ասել՝ փառք ու պատիվ մեր հոգևոր հայրերին, որ կարողացան ստեղծել կրթական կենտրոններ, երիտասարդ սերնդի շրջանում տարածեցին հայոց լեզուն, մշակույթը, դպրությունը:
Հպարտության զգացումով մեկ անգամ ևս շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս այս խորհրդանշական հոբելյանի առիթով՝ Միաբանության անդամներին մաղթելով գործունեության երկար և արգասաբեր տարիներ՝ իրականացնելու Մխիթար Սեբաստացու «Ամեն ինչ Հայաստանի և Հայրենիքի համար» սրբազան պատգամը»։
