Հայաստանում հրդեհները դառնում են սովորական երևույթ: Չէին հասցրել մարել Խոսրովի անտառի հրդեհը, երբ միաժամանակ հրդեհներ բռնկվեցին մի քանի վայրերում: Հրդեհները, սակայն, միայն Հայաստանում չեն ակտիվացել: Ադրբեջանում այրվում է զենք խոշորագույն պահեստ, Վրաստանում ՝ անտառ: Հատանշական է, որ Վրաստանի էներգետիկայի նախարար Կախա Կալադզեն, ով հիմա նաև Թբիլիսիի քաղաքապետի թեկնածու է, նշել էր, որ այս ամենից դիվերսիայի հոտ է գալիս և որ նմանատիպ հրդեհավտանգ մեկ էլ 2008 թ. օգոստոսյան պատերազմից առաջ էր:

Կալադզեն, իհարկե, նկատի ունի ռուսներին: Չբացառելով այն հանգամանքը, որ քաղաքապետի թեկնածուն նախընտրական իրավիճակում փորձում է պոպուլիստական հայտարարությամբ ձայներ հավաքել, այնուամենայնիվ չենք կարող անտեսել տարածաշրջանում հրդեհների նման ակտիվ միտումը: Իսկ Վրաստանին ռուսական դիվերսիայի դրսևորումները հայտնի են վաղուց և նրանք տարածաշրջանում միակն են, որ դրա մասին խոսելու համարձակություն ունեն:

Հայաստանում ևս գիտեն, թե ինչ բան է ռուսական դիվերսիան: Խոսքը ոչ միայն ռազմական դիվերսիայի կամ հատուկ ծառայությունների գործողությունների մասին է: Խոսքը քաղաքական դիվերսիայի և դրա տարբեր դրսևորումների մասին է,որ հյուսիսային կայսրությունը դրսևորում է իր այսպես ասած հարավային դարպասների նկատմամբ: Ընդ որում այդ դիվերսիան կարող է չարտահայտվել անտառ հրդեհելով, բայց կարող է արտահայտվել անտառի հրդեհը մարելու խնդանքով ուղարկվելիք ինքնաթիռն ուշացնելով, կամ ինքնաթիռի գալն ու հրդեհը մարելը որպես հայ-ռուսական դարավոր բարեկամության հերթական դրսևորում ներկայացնելով:
