Թուրքիան չի կարող վերափոխվել, քանի դեռ այն ժխտողական քաղաքականություն է որդեգրել հայերի նկատմամբ: «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նման կարծիք հայտնեց թուրք մտավորական, սոցիոլոգ, «Որովհետև հայ են» գրքի հեղինակ Փընար Սելեքը: «Այնքան ժամանակ, քանի Õ �եռ արդարությունը չի հաստատվել, և Թուրքիան ժխտման քաղաքականություն է վարում հայերի նկատմամբ, թուրքական պետությունը չի կարող վերափոխվել: Այն ստեղծվել է հենց այս հիմքի վրա, և քանի դեռ այդ հիմքը չի փոխվել, որևէ իրական փոփխություն երկրում չի լինի»,- նշեց Սելեքը` համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ պետությունը չվերափոխվելու դեպքում կշարունակի ճնշել քրդերին և անգամ ընդդիմադիր հայացքներ ունեցող թուրքերին:
«Թուրքիայում ժխտողականությունը ինստիտուցիոնալ բնույթ է կրում, փոքր ժամանակից սկսած դա է սերմանվում թուրքերի մեջ: Ստացվում է, որ թուրք հասարակությունն ինչ-որ առումով հիվանդ է այն ամենի պատճառով, ինչ նրա մեջ սերմանել են»,- ասաց Սելեքը` նշելով, սակայն, որ խոսքն ամբողջ հասարակության մասին չէ: «Պետք չէ մտածել, որ թուրք հասարակությունը միատար է, ոչ, այն շատ բազմատար է: Միակ խնդիրը, սակայն, այն է, որ շատ մարդիկ չգիտեն ճշմարտության մասին: Սակայն հասարակության ներսում փոխակերպումներն արդեն տեղի են ունեÕ �ում»,- ընդգծեց թուրք մտավորականը:
Նա պատմեց նաև, որ Ստրասբուրգում հետազոտություն է իրականացնում միջազգային մեղսակցության, զանգվածային բռնության վերաբերյալ: Նա փորձում է հասկանալ, թե մինչև ուր կարող է միջազգային հանրությունը պաշտպանել բռնության զոհերին, ինչպես կարող է հաստատվել արդարությունը` ոչ միայն հայերի օրինակով: Այդ համատեքստում փորձ կարվի քաղաքական և միջազգային տեսանկյունից հասկանալ տուժող կողմի բոլոր պահանջները:
Փընար Սելեքը ծնվել է 1971 թվականին Ստամբուլում: Նրա աշխատանքները վերաբերել են թուրքական հանրապետության փոքրամասնությունների և օտարվածներիիրավունքներին: Սելեքի կյանքում շրջադարձ է տեղի ունենում 1998 թվականին մի խճճված դատական գործի առնչությամբ, երբ նա անարդարացիորեն մեղադրվում էահաբեկչության մեջ: Հեռանալով երկրից` նախ գնում է Գերմանիա, ապա Ֆրանսիա, որտեղ ստանում է քաղաքական փախստականի կարգավիճակ: Ներկայումհետազոտություններ է իրականացնում Լիոնում:
