Հաջողակ ու տաղանդավոր հայ կանայք աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում իրենց մասնագիտական ոլորտում մեծ բարձունքների են հասնում։ Նրանց թվին կարելի է դասել նաեւ Ռուսաստանի ամենահայտնի ռեժիսորներից մեկին՝ Աննա Մելիքյանին։

Աննա Մելիքյանը ծնվել է 1976թ. փետրվարի 8-ին Բաքվում։ Մեծացել է Երեւանում, իսկ 17 տարեկանում տեղափոխվել Մոսկվա։
Մելիքյանը Գերասիմովի անվան կինեմատոգրաֆիայի համառուսաստանյան պետական ինստիտուտի շրջանավարտ է, Սերգեյ Սոլովյովի աշակերտուհին։

Հայ ռեժիսորին ճանաչում բերեցին կարճամետրաժ «Մինչեւ պահանջարկ», «Կոնտրաբաս», «Andante» եւ «Թռանք» ֆիլմերը։
Նրա առաջին լիամետրաժ ֆիլմը «Մարս»-ն է, որի պրեմիերան կայացավ 2004թ. Բեռլինյան կինոփառատոնում։ Երկրորդ լիամետրաժ ֆիլմը «Ջրահարս»-ն է, որը Սանդենսի կինոփառատոնին արժանացավ լավագույն ռեժիսորական աշխատանքի համար մրցանակին եւ 2008թ. Ռուսաստանի կողմից առաջադրվեց «Օսկար» մրցանակաբաշխությանը։

«Աստղ» ֆիլմի համար Աննան «Կինովատոր» փառատոնին արժանացել է լավագույն ռեժիսորական աշխատանք մրցանակին։
Ամերիկյան Variety ամսագիրը Մելիքյանին ընդգրկել է աշխարհի լավագույն տասը ռեժիսորների թվում։
Աննան ստեղծել է «Մագնում» ընկերությունը, որը զբաղվում է ինչպես գեղարվեստական եւ հեռուստասերիալների արտադրությամբ, այնպես էլ փնտրում եւ հովանավորում է նոր տաղանդների։
Աննա Մելիքյանի բազմաթիվ մրցանակների թվին է դասվում նաեւ «Ոսկե Ծիրան» երեւանյան կինոփառատոնինը, որին «Ջրահասրը» ֆիլմի համար նա արժանացել է 2008 թվականին։

«Իմ կինոն ես եմ, իսկ ես հայ եմ։ Երբ նկարահանում եմ, ոչինչ չեմ ուզում ասել, պարզապես իմ մեջ ծնվում է որևէ պատմություն, որն ուզում եմ պատմեմ», – ասում է Աննան:

Աննա Մելիքյանն  ունի դուստր։ Նրա նախկին ամուսինը կինոպրոդյուսեր Ռուբեն Դիշդիշյանն է։

Իր անձնական կյանքին նա գրեթե չի անդրադառնում։

«Ում է հետաքրքիր իմ անձնականը, չէ որ ես Ֆիլիպ Կիրկորովը չեմ։ Ես ոչ դերասանուհի եմ, ոչ էլ փոփ-աստղ։ Այն, ինչ ուզում եմ պատմել, անում եմ ֆիլմերիս միջոցով։ Ըստ իս, ես մեր կինոյի ամենաանկեղծ հեղինակներից եմ։ Իմ ֆիլմերը ինքնակենսագրականներ չեն, սակայն միշտ ինձ պտտեցնում են դեպի ներաշխարհս եւ գրեթե միշտ իմ մասին են»,- ասում է նա։

«Ես հազվադեպ եմ սիրահարվում, սակայն եթե դա տեղի է ունենում, ապա լինում է  շատ լուրջ եւ հիվանդագին։ Իմ կյանքում սիրավեպերը քիչ են, սակայն իմ ֆիլմերում ես պատմում եմ այն, ինչ տեսել եմ կյանքում»,- պատմում է Աննա Մելիքյանը։
