Հյուսիսային Կորեան նախազգուշացրել է Միացյալ Թագավորությանը, որ նրան «թշվառ ավարտ» է սպասվում, եթե նա միանա թերակղզու շուրջ ստեղծված լարված իրավիճակին, գրում է The Daily Mail-ը:
Կիմ Չեն Ընը Կորեայի կենտրոնական լրատվական գործակալության միջոցով հայտնել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյին՝ չհետևել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ագրեսիվ հռետորաբանությանը:
«Մենք հանդիսավոր կերպով նախազգուշացնում ենք ոչ միայն ԱՄՆ-ին և խամաճիկ խմբին, այլև դրա արբանյակներին, այդ թվում՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիային և Ավստրալիային, որոնք օգտվում են Հյուսիսի դեմ ներկա պատերազմական քայլերից»,- ասված է Կորեայի կենտրոնական լրատվական գործակալության հաղորդագրությունում:
Կորեական թերակղզում իրավիճակը չափազանց լարված է մնում: Հուլիսին ԿԺԴՀ-ն երկու անգամ բալիստիկ հրթիռների փորձարկումներ է իրականացրել, ինչը սուր արձագանք է ստացել ԱՄՆ-ի, Ճապոնիայի և Հարավային Կորեայի կողմից:
Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն ու Հարավային Կորեան «Ըլչի-Ֆրիդոմ գարդիան» անվամբ համատեղ տասնօրյա զորավարժություններ են սկսում: Չնայած ԱՄՆ-ն և Հարավային Կորեան պնդում են, որ զորավարժությունները պաշտպանական բնույթ են կրում, ԿԺԴՀ-ն դատապարտել է դրանց անցկացումը՝ նախազգուշացնելով, որ դրանք կարող են հանգեցնել աղետալի հետևանքների: Փհենյանում վստահ են, որ զորավարժությունների նպատակը Հյուսիսային Կորեայի տարածք ներխուժման նախապատրաստումն է:
Կորեայի կենտրոնական հեռագրային գործակալությունն ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ Փհենյանն ուսումնասիրում է ցանկացած պահի գործողության միջին և մեծ շառավղով «Հվասոն -12» հրթիռներով Գուամ կղզում Միացյալ Նահանգների ռազմաբազաներին հարվածելու վերաբերյալ ծրագիրը: Սրան ի պատասխան ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն ասել էր, որ Գուամին հարվածելու դեպքում, ԱՄՆ-ն Հյուսիսային Կորեայի հետ այնպիսի բան կանի, որ նախկինում ոչ ոք չէր տեսել:
Այնուհանդերձ՝ վերջին շրջանում 2 պետությունների ղեկավարները նախընտրել են մի կողմ դնել ռազմաշունչ հայտարարությունները: Մասնավորապես՝ Կիմ Չեն Ընն ասել է, որ պատրաստ է միառժամանակ հետաձգել Գուամին հարվածելու որոշման իրականացումն ու տեսնել, թե ԱՄՆ-ն իրեն ինչպես կդրսևորի, իսկ Թրամփը հավանություն է տվել այս որոշմանը:
