Հայաստանում Չինաստանի դեսպանատան նոր՝ Եվրասիայում մեծությամբ երկրորդ դեսպանատան շենքի կառուցման փաստը, հայ-իրանական ինտենսիվ հարաբերությունները վերջին շրջանում, մասնավորապես Իրանի կողմից տնտեսականից բացի քաղաքական օժանդակությունը՝ Հայաստանի հանդեպ Ադրբեջանի ռազմական նկրտումները սաստելու տեսքով, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի փխրուն հույսերը՝ հարաբերություններ ձևավորել իզոլացվող Կատարի հետ, ստեղծում են միտում, որ Հայաստանը փորձում է ծավալվել ու ելքեր գտնել Արևելքում:

Արևմուտքի հետ կարծես ամեն ինչ պարզ է դառնում: Արևմուտքը հայկական պատուհանը բաց է պահում, բայց չի պատրաստվում ակտիվ ելումուտ անել ֆինանսական հոսքերի տեսքով: Կա նաև անվստահություն հայաստանյան իշխանության նկատմամբ: Ռուսաստանն էլ իր կայսերական շահերն է իրացնում, որոնք թանկ են նստում Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության ու ներքին կայունության վրա: Այդ ամենի դիմաց Հայաստանը չի ստանում ոչինչ, միայն զենք, այն էլ վարկով, որը վերցվում է հե՛նց ռուսներից:

Մինչ այդ, երկրի տնտեսությունն ու քաղաքական կյանքը գնալով ավելի են բացասական դինամիկա ցույց տալիս, ու արտահայտվում հասարակության մոտ՝ ապատիայի, իսկ վերնախավի մոտ`  խուճապահար քայլերի տեսքով: Փողի նոր աղբյուրներ են փնտրում ոչ միայն հասարակ քաղաքացիներն իրենց ընտանիքի մակարդակով, այլև վերնախավը՝ պետության մակարդակով, այդ ճարվող գումարից իրենց հասանելիք մասնաբաժիններն ապահովելու հույսով:

Գումարի փնտրտուքը Հայաստանին տանում է դեպի Չինաստան, Իրան, Կատար ... Այսինքն, երկրներ, որոնք դուրս են ռուս-արևմտյան տանդեմից, որոնք բավական հարուստ են ու միաժամանակ լրիվ ուրիշ քաղաքակրթական աշխարհներ են ներկայացնում: Ինչքանով կստացվի այդ համագործակցությունը ցույց կտա ժամանակը: Բայց ընդգծենք նաև, որ համենայն դեպս տպավորությունն այնպիսին է, որ առնվազն Չինաստանն ու Իրանն անում են ամեն ինչ Հայաստանում միջազգային խաղացողի դիրքերը ամրապնդելու համար:
