Խոսրովի արգելոցի 1600 հեկտար տարածքից հրդեհների հետևանքով նախնական տվյալներով վնասվել է 250 հեկտարը: «Կան առանձին կղզյակներ, որտեղ վնասը շատ մեծ չէ, դրանք նաև հնարավորություն են տվել կենդանական աշխարհին պատսպարվել: Վնասների չափն առաջիկայում ճշգրտվելու է, մի քանի աղբյուրներ ենք համադրելու, որպեսզի ունենանք ճշգրիտ պատկեր: Վստահեցնում ենք, որ չի լինելու որևէ բան, որը կթաքցնենք, այդպիսի խնդիր չկա», - «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ, կառավարության նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այդ մասին նշեց ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարար Արծվիկ Մինասյանը՝ ավելացնելով, որ ցանկանում են հրապարակային գնահատականներ հնչեցնել, որպեսզի հետագայում վերականգնողական աշխատանքները լինեն նպատակային, ներգրավելով նաև հասարակությանը:

Անդրադառնալով համահայկական ծառատունկ կազմակերպելու մասին հարցին՝ Բնապահպանության նախարարն ասաց, որ արգելոցային ռեժիմը թույլ չի տալիս որևէ միջամտություն, մարդու որևէ գործունեություն, բույսերի արհեստական աճեցում: «Արգելոցի հետ կապված գործում է խիստ ռեժիմ: Առաջիկայում քննարկելու են արգելոցի կառավարման պլանը, որտեղ կան նաև առանձին լուծումներ, որպեսզի այնտեղ ընդգրկվեն նոր տարածքներ, արգելոցում այլ  ռեժիմներ կիրառելով՝ կարողանանք որոշակի քայլեր անել, սակայն բուն արգելոցում որևէ միջամտություն արգելվում է ու չի իրականացվելու»,- ասաց նախարարը: Աշխատանքները կդրվեն հանրային քննարկման, որպեսզի հասարակությունը, բնապահպանները լիարժեք իմանան հետագա գործողությունները

ՀՀ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը, խոսելով հրդեհաշիջման աշխատանքներին մասնակցած հրշեջների, փրկարարներին խրախուսելու մասին, նշեց, որ դեռևս նման քայլ չի արվել: «Սեպտեմբերի 4-ին ԱԻՆ-ի օրը նշելիս անպայման բոլորը պարգևատրվելու են»,- ընդգծեց նա:

Միաժամանակ, ԱԻ նախարարը վստահեցրեց, որ ռուսական Իլ-76-ի օգտագործման նպատակով ՀՀ կառավարությունը վարձակալության միջոցներ չի հատկացրել, ինքնաթիռի ներգրավումը հրդեհաշիջման աշխատանքներին եղել է Ռուսաստանի աջակցությունը:
