Սոչիում կայացել է է ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հանդիպումը:  Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով Կրեմլի պաշտոնական կայքը, նախագահները քննարկել են հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների արդիական հարցեր, ինտեգրացիոն միավորումների շրջանակում համագործակցության զարգացման հեռանկարները: Ողջունելով Ռուսաստանի գործընկերոջը՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանը փաստել է, որ Հայաստանն ու Ռուսաստանը մի քանի օրից նշելու են Բարեկամության, համագործակցության և փոխադարձ օգնության մասին պայմանագրի ստորագրման 20-ամյակը:

ՀՀ Նախագահի խոսքով՝ հետագա տարիները դարձան միջպետական հարաբերությունների ինտենսիվ շրջան: «Հայ-ռուսական ռազմավարական դաշնակցային հարաբերություններն առանձնանում են բարձր մակարդակում մշտական ինտենսիվ երկխոսությամբ, արտաքին քաղաքական լայն կոորդինացիայով, միջազգային և տարածաշրջանային հարթակներում կառուցողական համագործակցությամբ, անվտանգության, ռազմական և ռազմատեխնիկական ոլորտներում արգասաբեր համագործակցությամբ: Մեր առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունները ևս ինտենսիվ զարգանում են: Անցած տարի մեր առևտրաշրջանառության 15 տոկոսանոց աճ ունեինք: Այս տարվա առաջին վեց ամիսների ընթացքում ավելացել է գրեթե 24 տոկոս: Մշտական է մեր երկրների կառավարությունների ու խորհրդարանների միջև կապը:

Մշտապես զարգանում է նաև միջտարածաշրջանային և հումանիտար ոլորտներում համագործակցությունը: Այս ամենին, իհարկե, նպաստում են բարձրագույն և բարձր մակարդակներում մշտական այցելությունները: Այս տարի Հայաստանում եղել են Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության դումայի նախագահ, Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարը, ես եմ Մոսկվայում եղել պաշտոնական այցով, մեր խորհրդարանի նախագահը, վարչապետը: Մենք Հայաստանում սպասում ենք Ռուսաստանի վարչապետին, արտաքին գործերի նախարարին, նախարար Մանտուրովին՝ գործարարների և պետկառավարիչների մեծ պատվիրակության կազմում՝ Եվրասիական տնտեսական համագործակցության երկրորդ միջազգային ֆորումի շրջանակներում: Բառացիորեն, օրեր առաջ կայացան երեք կարևորագույն երկկողմ հանձնաժողովների նիստերը՝ ռազմատեխնիկական, առևտրատնտեսական և խորհրդարանական համագործակցության:

Աշնանը Ռուսաստանում կանցկացվեն Հայաստանի օրերը: Շատ կարևոր է, որ այս օրերի շրջանակներում անցկացվելիք միջոցառումները չեն սահմանափակվում միայն Ռուսաստանի մայրաքաղաքի աշխարհագրությամբ, միջոցառումները կանցկացվեն Ռուսաստանի 13 քաղաքներում»,- ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

ՀՀ Նախագահը նաև շնորհակալություն է հայտնել անտառային հրդեհների մարման ուղղությամբ ցուցաբերված օգնության համար:
