Աշխարհում դեռ նոր են սկսում արտադրել մարտական ռոբոտներ, բայց բազմաթիվ ընկերությունների ներկայացուցիչներ արդեն բաց նամակ են գրել՝ կոչ անելով արգելել մարդասպան ռոբոտների արտադրությունը։ Նամակի տակ ստորագրել են նաեւ Իլոն Մասկը, DeepMind լաբորատորիայի ղեկավարն ու շատ ուրիշներ։ Այն բանից հետո, երբ դիմումը հավաքել է հարյուրից ավելի ստորագրություն, այն ուղարկել են ՄԱԿ, հայտնումէ Hi-Tech News-ը։
