Արթուր Բաղդասարյանը ԵԺԿ ասամբլեայում կարևորել է հարաբերությունների խորացումը ԵՄ- ի հետ

«Օրինաց երկիր» կուսակցության նախագահ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը, որը մեկնել է Իսպանիայի մայրաքաղաք Մադրիդ հոկտեմբերի 21-22-ը տեղի ունեցող Եվրոպական ժողովրդական կուսակցության (ԵԺԿ) համագումարին մասնակցելու նպատակով, մասնակցել է ԵԺԿ ընդլայնված համագումարին, որի ժամանակ ԵԺԿ նախագահ է ընտրվել Ժոզեֆ Դոլը: Հոկտեմբերի 22-ին տեղի կունենան ԵԺԿ գլխավոր քարտուղարի և փոխնախագահների ընտրուÕ �յունները:
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին «Օրինաց երկիր» կուսակցության գրասենյակից, ՕԵԿ նախագահ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանը ԵԺԿ քաղաքական ասամբլեայում նախօրեին հանդես է եկել ելույթով, որում մասնավորապես նշել է.
«Հայաստանի քաղաքական գերակայություններից մեկը Եվրոպական Միության հետ հարաբերությունների հետևողական խորացումն է: Մեզ համար եվրոպական արժեքները, Եվրոպական Միության և անդամ երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների խորացումը կարևոր նշանակություն ունեն: Այսօր ես նախաձեռնել եմ մի գործընթաց, որն իր շուրջն է համախմբել 140 քաղաքական և հասարակական կազմակերպությունների, քաղաքացիական շարժումների: Մեր նպատակն է Հայաստանը տանել ժողովրդավարության խորացման, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ճանապարհով և, իսկապես, պայքարել մեր երկրի, հասարակության վերածննդի համար: Այդ իսկ պատճառով այդ միավորումը կոչվում է «Հայկական վերածնունդ», որը նպատակ ունի իր համառ պայքարով կյանքի կոչել հայկական երազանքը՝ կառուցել ազատ, զարգացող և բարեկեցիկ հասարակություն: Այսօր ես անպայման ուզում եմ խոսել հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների, մեր տարածաշրջանում Ռուսաստանի դերի և ազդեցության մասին: Հայերն ավանդաբար լավ հարաբերություններ են ունեցել Ռուսաստանի հետ: Այսօր էլ Ռուսաստանը Հայաստանի համար առանցքային առևտրատնտեսական գործընկեր և անվտանգության ապահովման գործում կարևոր դերակատար և դաշնակից է: Õ �ենք չենք ցանկանում մեր հարաբերությունները կառուցել Եվրոպա-Ռուսաստան առկա տարաձայնությունների՝ իմ համոզմամբ, ժամանակավոր տարաձայնությունների ֆոնի վրա: Մենք եվրոպական երկիր ենք և ցանկանում ենք կառուցել առանց հակասության հարաբերություններ մեր բոլոր դաշնակիցների հետ: Ի վերջո, եվրոպական արժեքներին մեր ձգտումներում պետք է հասնենք մեր նպատակներին՝ ջանքերը համադրելով, այլ ոչ թե կառուցենք մեր ապագան հակասությունների փիլիսոփայության համատեքստում: Պետք է վարել հավասարակշռված քաղաքականություն և ունենալ նմանատիպ հարաբերություններ ԱՄՆ-ի և Չինաստանի, Եվրամիության և Ռուսաստանի, աշխարհաքաղաքական բոլոր կենտրոնների հետ: Սա է փոքր երկրի մեծ հավակնությունների իրականացման ճշմարիտ ճանապարհը»:
