Անվանափոխությունների ենթատեքստը. պայքար անցյալի՞, թե՞ ներկայի դեմ

ԵԼՔ-ի նախաձեռնությունը ՝ անվանափոխել բոլշևիկների անունները կրող փողոցները համընկավ ԱՄՆ -ում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների հետ, երբ հարավի նահանգներից մի քանիսում ի հակադրություն Թրամփի քանդվել էին քաղաքացիական պատերազմում պարտված կոնֆեդերատիվ զորքերի հրամանատարների արձանները:
Երկար ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ում քաղաքացիական պատերազմի հաղթողների ու պարտվողների արձանները խաղաղ գոյակցում էին նահանգից նահանգ: Եվ հիմա, դրանք փոխում են իրենց իմաստը: Որովհետև սիմվոլները մեզ պատմում են ոչ միայն անցյալի մասին, այլև պայմանավորում են ներկան: Կոնֆեդերատիվ հարավցիների հրամանատարների արձաններն այլևս խորհրդանշում են Թրամփին ու նրա կիսառասիստական հայտարարությունները: Իսկ մինչ այդ, դրանք ոչինչ չէին խորհրդանշում ՝ բացի քաղաքացիական պատերազմի ավարտն ու կոմպրոմիսը ՝ հյուսիսի ու հարավի միջև:
Հետ գալով Հայաստան: Մի բան է փողոցների անվանափոխումը 90-ականներին, երբ քանդվում է Սովետական միությունը, և անկախություն կերտող Հայաստանն ունի պետական սիմվոլներ ստեղծելու կարիք: Այդ գործընթացի մի մասն էլ տեղի էր ունենում հնի հաշվին: Հիմա իրավիճակն այլ է : Անկախության կերտման գործընթաց չկա: Բայց կա հակառուսականության տենդենց վերջին տարիներին:
Անկախ ԵԼՔ-ի մոտիվացիաներից, փողոցների անվանափոխությունը ուզած-չուզած տեղավորվում է հենց այս կոնտեքստում: ԵԼՔ-ը որոշել էր էլեկտորատի հակառուսական օրակարգն օգտագործել ԵԱՏՄ-ից դուրս գալու նախաձեռնությամբ, բայց ձախողեց: Փոխարենը սկսեցին հակառուսականության ալիքը ուղղորդել փողոցների վերանվանման ուղղությամբ: Խնդիրը սակայն այն է, որ ի տարբերություն Ուկրաինայի և Վրաստանի, սովետական միության և ներկայիս Ռուսաստանի մասին ընկալումները միշտ չէ, որ համընկնում են: Հայաստանյան հասարակության հակառուսական դիրքորոշումը չի ասոցացվում Սովետական գաղութատիրության հետ, որովհետև սովետական համակարգն ընդհանրապես չի ասոցացվում գաղութատիրության հետ: Այն ասոցացվում է առաջին հանրապետության փլատակների փրկության, կայուն և կանխատեսելի կյանքի և արդյունաբերական վերելքի հետ:
Իսկ Ռուսաստանի մասին բացասական ասոցացիաները կապված են էներգետիկ քաղաքականության, Ադրբեջանին զենք վաճառելու, ղարաբաղյան հարցում խաբուսիկ դիրքորոշման հետ: Եվ այս դժոգհությունները շատ կոնկրետ են ու առանձացված Սովետական միության մասին նոստալգիայից: Սա էլ պատճառն է, որ ԵԼՔ-ի սկսածն այդպես էլ հանրային վստահության ալիք չունեցավ:
