Լոնդոնի մետրոյում կհայտնվի բանկոմատ, որը կճանաչի օտարերկրյա մետաղադրամները եւ դրանք կփոխանակի ֆունտերով, դոլարներով կամ եվրոներով, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC News-ին:
Առաջին ապարատը կտեղադրեն մետրոյի King's Cross Tube կայարանում հոկտեմբերի 26-ին, եւս հինգը մինչեւ տարեվերջ կհայտնվեն այլ կայարաններում:
Տեխնոլոգիան մեկ վայրկյանում կարող է ճանաչել մինչեւ տասը տարբեր մետաղադրամներ:
Գաղափարն առաջարկել է Virgin Media ընկերությունը: Դրա ներկայացուցիչ Ջեֆ Փաթերսոնը հայտարարել է, որ իր տանը կուտակվել է մի ամբողջ արկղ մետաղադրամներ, որոնք մնացել են արտասահմանյան ուղեւորություններից, եւ ինքը չգիտեր ինչ անել դրանց հետ:
