ԵԼՔ խմբակցության նախաձեռնությունը ` վերանվանել բոլշևիկների անունները կրող փողոցները, թափ չի առնում, ավելի շատ քննարկվում ու քննադատվում է: Օրերս պարզ դարձավ, որ կարծես ավագանիում ԵԼՔ-ի մրցակից Երկիր Ծիրանին էլ դեմ չէ այդ նախաձեռնությանը: Նախաձեռնության հանդեպ թերավահատությունը պայմանավորված է ոչ թե բուն նախաձեռնության բովանդակության, այլ հարակից այլ հանգամանքների հետ: Եվ հենց այս հանգամանքները հաշվի չառնելն ու համառորեն փողոցների վերանվանման թեման շրջանառելն են, որ թերահավատություն են ներշնչում, ինչի արդյունքում նախաձեռնությունը բացի քարոզչական ալիքից այլ դրսևորում չի ստանում:

 Հայաստանում այսօր չկա հնի ու նորի, սովետականի ու անկախ Հայաստանի միջև հակասությունների, արժեքային բախումների դրսևորումը հանրության շրջանում: Չկա սովետի հանդեպ ակնհայտ ատելություն, ընդհակառակը կամաց-կամաց սովետական շրջանը հիշվում է որպես համեմատաբար մոդեռնիստական ու արդյունաբերական շրջան, ի տարբերություն ներկայիս Հայաստանի, որտեղ արդիականությունից միայն ազատ խոսքի իրավունքն է առկա: Հայաստանում կա ռեալ դժգոհություն ռուսական քաղաքականությունից: Խոսքը և ԵԱՏՄ-ի ու այնտեղ հայտնվելու Հայաստանի առեղծվածային մեկ գիշերվա մասին է, և ադրբեջանցիներին զենք վաճառելու, և Հայաստանի սուվերենությանը անընդհատ խառնվելու: Այս դժգոհությունը առկա է թե քաղաքական շրջանակներում, թե հասարակական, ընդհուպ մինչև կենցաղային, երբ օրինակ տեղի էր ունենում Էլեկտրիկ Երևանը:

ԵԼՔ-ը կարծես թե սկսել էր խնդրի իրական արմատներին դիպչել, երբ կցկցտուր խոսակցություն գնաց ԵԱՏՄ-ից դուրս գալու գործընթացի մասին: Սակայն հետո գործընթացը արգելակվեց ու հենց այդ ժամանակ օրակարգ մտավ փողոցների վերանվանման թեման, որի քարոզչական նպատակը ԵԱՏՄ-ից դուրս գալու նախաձեռնության շուրջ ԵԼՔ-ում կոնսենսուսի բացակայությունը քողարկելն ու ռեալ քաղաքական հարցը սիմվոլներ փոխելու հարցով ռոտացիա անելն էր, ինչը կարծես թե վատ չի ստացվում: Փաշինյանը վերջիվերջո տարիներ շարունակ երկրի գլխավոր նյուզմեյքերներից է եղել:

Եվ հիմա, եթե կա ուժ, որն իսկապես ցանկանում է Հայաստանում մտքի ու արժեքների, միաժամանակ նաև ռեալ իրավիճակի ու քաղաքականության փորձ անել, պիտի սկսի ռեալ պոլիտկից: Բելոռուսում սովետական սիմվոլները կառավարման սովետական ավանդույթներից շատերի հետ ներդաշնակորեն պահպանվում են, բայց Լուկաշենկոն կարողանում է իրեն թույլ տալ Պուտինին կոշտ հակադարձումներ տալ: Հայաստանում, եթե փողոցները վերանվանվեն, դրանից Սերժ Սարգսյանի կամ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի դիրքերը չեն ամրապնդվելու ռուսների հետ պաշտոնական շփումներում:
