«Գյումրին առանց տնակների» հիմնադրամի նախաձեռնությամբ օգոստոսի 17-ին «Ավտոկայան» տնակային թաղամասում բնակվով Ջուլիետա Կիրակոսյանը ստացավ բնակարանի բանալի: Տիկին Ջուլիետան անօթևանի կարգավիճակ չուներ՝ երկրաշարժին բնակարան չի կորցրել, ու սա էլ պատճառ էր, որ թոշակառու կինը նաև հույս չուներ ՝ երբևէ քարե բնակարան ունենալու: ՈՒ կինն այդպես էլ կշարունակեր տնակում բնակվել, եթե «Գյումրին առանց տնակների» հիմնադրամի նախաձեռնությանը միանալու առաջարկով չներկայանար «Պեգաս» վաճառատների ցանցի սեփականատեր Անդրանիկ Խաչատրյանի նվիրատվությամբ: «Տնակային թաղամասի ընտրությունը պատահական չէր՝ ամենախնդրաշատ տնակային թաղամասն էր: Ի սկզբանե էինք նախատեսել, որ լինի տնակում բնակվող միայնակ ծեր և տեսնելով տիկին Ջուլիետայի տնակային պայմանները, որոշեցինք բնակարան նվիրել հենց նրան»,-նշեց բարերարը՝ փաստելով, որ բնակարանը գնելուց հաշվի է առնվել ամեն ինչ և բնակելու շինարարական որակը, հարմարությունները և հարկը:

Գյումրիում 2015 թվականի դեկտեմբերին ստեղծվեց «Գյումրին առանց տնակների» հիմնադրամը՝ «Տնակից տուն` մեկ քայլ» կարգախոսով փորձելով ամեն կեպ օգնել տնակներում ապրող ընտանիքներին: Հիմնադրամը գործունեություն ծավալում է հիմնականում նվիրատվությունների միջոցով: Հիմնական խնդիրը Գյումրին տնակներից ազատելն է՝ տնակում բնակվողների տուն տալու, տնակը քանդելու և տարածքն ազատելու միջոցով: Նվիրատվությունների միջոցով հիմնադրամին հաջողվել է 22 բնակարան հատկացնել, որոնից 13-ը «Հայէլեկտրացանցեր» ընկերության կողմից ՝ «SOS-Գյումրի» նախագծի շրջանակներում: Բոլոր 22 բնակարանները տրամադրվել են տնակի տարածքն ազատելու պարտադիր սկզբունքով:
