Այսօր` լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը, ՀՀ կանաչների միության նախագահ Հակոբ Սանասարյանը պատմեց, որ դեռեւս 1991 թվականի վաղ գարնանն Իջեւանի լեռնային անտառներում էր հրդեհ բռնկվել, իսկ հրշեջներն իրեն ասել էին, թե կրակը կմարեն, եթե Ասված անձրեւ բերի: «Սա դեռ ինձ ասում էին 30 տարի առաջ, եւ ոչինչ չի փոխվել: Նույն ապրիլյան պատերազմի սցենարն է, քանի որ պարզվեց, որ մենք համապատասխան տեխնիկա չունենք, ունեցածն էլ ժանգոտ է: Ինքնաթիռ կարող էին բերել հենց առաջին օրն՝ իմանալով տեղանքի բարդ լինելը, քանի որ գիտեին չէ՞, որ հնարավորություն չունեն տեխնիկա անցկացնելու տվյալ տարածք: Անցյալ օրը մասնագետներն ասում էին, որ 3000 հեկտար կայրվի. սա հնարավոր է, քանի որ, եթե մեկ օրվա ընթացքում կես հեկտար է այրվում, ապա 2-րդ օրը կարող է կրկնապատկվել»,- ասաց նա: 

Բնապահպանը նշեց նաեւ, որ ՀՀ-ում անտառն իր կառուցվածքով բզկտված է, հատուկ պահպանվող տարածքներն անջատված են անտառներից: «Ոլորտը քաոսային վիճակում է:

Սանասարյանը «Խոսրովի անտառ» պետական արգելոցի ու Վայոց ձորի անտառում բռնկված հրդեհը բնապահպանական ողբերգություն է համարում, ավելին՝ սգո օրվա հետ է համեմատում: Այրված տարածքների վերականգնումը եւս, ըստ իս, երազանք է: Սգո օր պիտի համարվի, քանի որ հանգույցները, որոնք այրվում են, մեծ արժեք ունեն ազգային ու միջազգային առումով: Հանկարծ չմտածեք, թե հնարավոր է վերականգնել այրված անտառները, քանի որ սա եղել է հնագույն տարածք, որտեղ արքան որոշել է նաեւ մի հատվածում այլ՝ յուրահատուկ բուսականություն ստեղծել: Վերականգնման մասին հնարավոր չէ մտածել, այդ գոտում հարյուրավոր յուրահատուկ բուսատեսակներ կային, էնդեմիկ ծառեր:

Հայկական գիհը շատերն են փորձել այլ տեղերում աճեցնել, չի ստացվել, տարբեր կերպ փորձել են, բայց դա շատ բարդ աշխատանք է: Կենդանական ու բուսական աշխարհի համակեցությունը վերականգնել հնարավոր չէ»,- ընդգծեց Հակոբ Սանասարյան
