Կորեական թերակզու շուրջ իրավիճակի սրացումը կարող է համաշխարհային պատերազմի հանգեցնել։ Լատվիական Baltkom ռադիոկայանի եթերում այս մասին հայտնել է Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ-ի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան։

«Մենք արդեն խոսել ենք այն մասին, որ իրավիճակը սահմանային է։ Բայցեւայնպես, մենք լսում ենք եւ Փհենյանի հռետորաբանությունը, եւ Վաշինգթոնի ամենօրյա հայտարարությունները։ Պարադոքսն այն է, որ դրանք նույնն են։ Երկու կողմից էլ ուղղակի ահաբեկում է ընթանում՝ ուժի կիրառման սպառնալիքով․․․ Այնպիսի տպավորություն է, որ Փհենյանի այդ բոլոր հայտարարությունները անգելերեն են թարգմանվում ու հնչեցվում ԱՄՆ բարձրաստիճան անձանց կողմից»,- ասել է նա, փոխանցել է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։

Նա շեշտել է, որ հնարավոր պատերազմի դեպքում բազմաթիվ խաղաղ բնակիչներ կզոհվեն։ «Եթե այդ սցենարը կիրառվի՝ ապա տեղի կունանա համաշխարհային մասշտաբի աղետ՝ միջազգային իրավունքի համատարած շրջանցումով, որի մասին վերջին տարիներին այդքան հոգ էր տանում հենց Վաշինգթոնը, ծավալելով պատժամիոջցային պատերազմներ․․․Խոսքն այն մասին է, որ կարող են զոհվել տասնյակ, հարյուր հազարավոր խաղաղ բնակիչներ», -հայտնել է Զախարովան։

Նա նաեւ նշել է բնապահպանական աղետի սպառնալիքը։ «Խոսքը թերակղզու մասին է, որը օվկիանոսի ջրերով է ողողվում։ Այնպես որ սպառնալիքը ավելին է քան տարածաշրջանայինը»,- հավելել է նա։

Զախարովայի խոսքով՝ ստեղծվում էտպավորություն, որ ոչ բոլորը գիտեն, թե ինչ սպառնալիք է կրում երկու միջուկային տերությունների հարաբերությունների սրացումը։ «Եթե մարդիկ 2017-ին չեն հասկանում, թե ինչ է միջուկային զենքի սպառնալիքը, որ դա սպառնալիք է ամբողջ աշխարհի համար, այդ դեպքում ինչի՞ մասին ենք մենք խոսում։ Ռուսաստանն ու Չինաստանը նախաձեռնել են ծրագիր՝ այդ ճգնաժամից դուրս գալու համար։ Խոսքը երկկողմանի սառեցման մասին է։ Ամերիկացիներն ու Հարավային ԿՈրեան սառեցնում են իրենց զորավարժությունները, որոնք սադրիչ են, իսկ Հյուսիսային Կորեան սառեցնում է իր փորձարկումները, որոնք դատապարտում է ՄԱԿ-ը»,- պարզաբանել է Զախարովան։
