Հայաստանի հավաքականի բասկետբոլիստ Արկադի Մկրտիչյանը մեկնաբանել է աշխարհի առաջնության ընտրական մրցաշարի չորրորդ տուրի խաղում Սոլվակիայի նկատմամբ արտագնա հաղթանակը:
«Մենք ժամանել էինք հաղթանակի նպատակով։ Բոսնիա եւ Հերցեգովինայից կրած պարտությունից հետո մարզիչը շատ լավ էր տրամադրել մեզ խաղին։ Մենք հիանալի աշխատանք կատարեցինք պաշտպանությունում, եւ դա տվեց իր արդյունքը։
Առաջին քառորդն ավելի բարդ ստացվեց, քան մյուսները, սակայն կարեւորն այն է, որ հաղթանակի հասանք եւ ավելի մոտեցանք մեր նպատակին»,- Արկադի Մկրտիչյանի խոսքը փոխանցում է ՀԲՖ մամուլի ծառայությունը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Սլովակիայի մայրաքաղաք Բրատիսլավայում կայացած խաղում հայ բասկետբոլիստներն առավելության էին հասել 92:78 հաշվով: Չորրորդ տուրից հետո Հայաստանի թիմը 7 միավորով A խմբի առաջատարն է: Շվեդիան ու Բոսնիա-Հերցեգովինան ունեն 6-ական միավոր, իսկ Սլովակիան՝ 5:
Հայաստանի հավաքականը հաջորդ ընտրական խաղը կանցկացնի օգոստոսի 19-ին՝ Երեւանում մրցելով Բոսնիա-Հերցեգովինայի թիմի հետ: ԱԱ-2019-ի նախորդ 3 տուրերում Հայաստանի թիմը տնային հաղթանակներ էր տարել Սլովակիայի (75:61) եւ Շվեդիայի (82:69) նկատմամբ եւ Սարաեւոյում պարտվել Բոսնիա-Հերցեգովինային (85:98):
