Նախկինում ես ուշադրություն չէի դարձնում ինձ մտերիմ մարդկանց խորհուրդներին։ Ես կարծում էի, որ ինքս կարող եմ դասավորել իմ կյանքը, բայց իրականում այնպիսի երիտասարդների հետ էի, որոնք ինձ չէին հարգում եւ միայն սեռական հարաբերություններ էին ցանկանում։ Երբ ես թույլ տվեցի, որ իմ մտերիմներն ինձ օգնեն, ես այլ կերպ նայեցի իմ անձնական կյանքին։ Չկա ավելի լավ բան քան նրանց իմաստությունը, որոնք քեզ համար լավագույնն են ցանկանում։

2. Ես ինձ համար տղամարդկանց հատկանիշների must-have ցանկ եմ կազմել

Ամեն անգամ, երբ նոր մարդու էի հանդիպում, նրան ստուգում էի՝ ըստ այդ ցուցակի։ Ես գիտակից ընտրություն էի կատարում՝ հասկանալով, թե ինչ է ինձ պետք տվյալ տղամարդու մեջ։

3. Ես հագնվում էի այնպես, որ տպավորություն գործեմ

Ասում են՝ չի կարելի գրքի մասին դատել միայն շապիկից ելնելով, բայց ես չեմ համաձայնի։ Իմ զգեստապահարանը հսկայական դեր է խաղում այն հարցում, թե ինչպիսի՞ տղամարդկանց եմ գրավում։ Երբ ես հագնում էի կարճ կիսաշրջազգեստ եւ բարձրակրունկ կոշիկ, ինձ մոտեցող տղամարդկանց «որակը» շատ ցածր էր։ Բայց երբ սկսեցի ավելի դասական ու էլեգանտ հագուստ հագնել, տղամարդկանց որակը եւս միանգամից բարձրացավ։

4. Ես բարձրացրեցի իմ չափանիշները

Եթե երիտասարդը լավն էր, սակայն ժամադրությունների ժամանակ ստիպում էր ինձ սպասել, ես հեռանում էի։ Եթե նա լավ աշխատանք ուներ, խելացի էր, սակայն իր խելագար նախկին զուգընկերուհու հետ շփումը դադարեցնելու համարձակություն չուներ, ես հեռանում էի։ Ես դադարեցի տղաներից ընդունել նվազագույնը եւ նրանց փոխարեն թույլ տվեցի իմ կյանք մտնել արժանի տղամարդկանց։ Երբ ես սկսեցի լավագույնը պահանջել, հիմարների հնարավորությունները նվազեցին։

5. Ես սկսեցի վերահսկել իմ հույզերը

Ես հասկացա, որ դրանք ինձ հուսախաբ են անում։ Երբ հուսահատվում էի եւ զգում, որ ինձ ինչ-որ մեկը պետք է, հայտնվում էր մի տականք, որն օգտվում էր իմ վիճակից։ Հիմարները, կարծես, հոտով զգում էին իմ անինքնավստահությունը։ Այդ պատճառով ստիպված եղա ազատվել իմ բացասական հույզերից ու մտքերից, որոնք խանգարում էին ինձ երջանկություն գտնել։

6. Ես ընդունեցի իմ միայնությունը

Նախկինում, երբ տխրում էի միայնակ լինելու պատճառով, միշտ փնտրում էի ինչ-որ մեկին։ Զարմանալի չէ, որ միայն հիմարների էի հանդիպում։ Բայց երբ սովորեցի ընդունել իմ միայնությունը, ազատություն ու անկախություն զգացի։ Ես այլեւս չեմ համաձայնում ուրիշի կարծիքի հետ, թե ինչի եմ արժանի։

7. Ես զբաղվեցի ինքնազարգացմամբ

Ես հասկացա, որ խնդիրն իմ մեջ է։ Ես սկսեցի ավելի շատ հոգեբանական գրականություն կարդալ. ինչպես դառնալ ավելի ինքնավստահ, ինչպես բարձրացնել ինքնագնահատականը։

8. Ես դադարեցի այնպիսի վայրեր հաճախել, որտեղ հիմարները շատ են

Ես փոխեցի իմ կենսակերպն ու սովորությունները, դադարեցի լավ տղամարդկանց փնտրել այնտեղ, որտեղ նրանք չեն կարող լինել։
