Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքի ընտրությունները նախաձեռնող խմբի անդամ Սեպուհ Ասլանգիլը պատրիարքական ընտրությունների հետ կապված պարզաբանումներ է կատարել:
Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնում է «Ակոս» պարբերականը:
Սեպուհ Ասլանգիլի հաղորդմամբ` Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքի թեկնածուների թիվը չի կարող անցնել 5-ից:
«Պատրիարքի թեկնածուների թիվը 5-ից ավելի լինելու պարագայում պատրիարքարանի կրոնական խորհուրդը պետք է համապատասխան նիստ անցկացնի և թեկնածուների թիվն իջեցնի 5-ի»,- ասել է նախաձեռնող խմբի անդամը:
Նախաձեռնող խմբի անդամը նշել է, որ տեղապահ արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանը նամակ է ուղղելու հավանական թեկնածուներին, ինչից հետո թեկնածուներն իրենց առաջադրման մասին հայտնելու են նախաձեռնող խմբին:

Խնդրագրի հետ նահանգապետարան են ներկայացվել հանգստյան կոչված Պոլսո պատրիարք Մեսրոպ արքեպիսկոպոս Մութաֆյանի առողջական վիճակի մասին բժշկական տեղեկագրերը, ինչպես նաև նրա համար խնամակալ կարգելու մասին դատական որոշումը:
Խնդրագրի մեջ ներկայացված են նաև 2017 թվականի մարտի 15-ին գումարված Եկեղեցական համագումար ժողովի ժամանակ պատրիարքական տեղապահի ընտրության արդյունքները:
Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքարանում 2016 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 26-ին կայացած եկեղեցական ժողովի ժամանակ քննարկվել էր հարցն այն մասին, որ 2008 թվականի մայիսից պատրիարք Մեսրոպ Մութաֆյանը դադարել է պաշտոնավարել և պատրիարքական աթոռի ընթացիկ գործերը կատարելու համար պատրիարքական ընդհանուր փոխանորդ է ընտրվել Արամ արքեպիսկոպոս Աթեշյանը:
«Եկեղեցական կանոններն ու ավանդույթն ուխտի լուծարման համար բավարար են համարում յոթ տարվա բացակայությունը: Հետևաբար, Պատրիարքի ութ տարվա բացակայությունը հաստատում է «Պատրիարքական ուխտի» լուծարումը: 2015 թվականի դատաբժշկական հանձնախմբի տեղեկագրով վավերացված է Պատրիարքի ոչ գործուն լինելու հանգամանքը:
Վերոնշյալ փաստերը հաստատում են, որ Պատրիարքական աթոռը մնացել է թափուր: Ուստի Ժողովական Հայրերը միաձայն որոշել են «հանգստյան կոչված» համարել Ն. Ա. Տ. Մեսրոպ Բ. Ս. Պատրիարք Հորը և անվանել նրան «ՊԱՏՐԻԱՐՔ Ի ՀԱՆԳՍՏԵԱՆ»,- ասվում էր ժողովի արդյունքներով ընդունված զեկույցում:
Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքի ընտրությունները նախաձեռնող խումբն ընտրությունների անցկացման ամսաթվի վերաբերյալ առաջարկություն է ուղարկել Ստամբուլի նահանգապետարան:
Նախաձեռնող խումբը, որպես պատվիրակների ընտրության ամսաթիվ, առաջարկել է 2017-ի դեկտեմբերի 10-ը, իսկ պատրիարքի ընտրությունների համար` դեկտեմբերի 13-ը:
