Տարածաշրջանում օգոստոսի 3- 9-ը 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ 4 երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել

Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության ծառայության (ՍՊԾ) սեյսմոլոգիական ցանցի կողմից օգոստոսի 3- 9-ը գրանցված երկրաշարժերից 21-ի համար որոշվել են օջախի հիմնական պարամետրերը: Տեղի ունեցած սեյսմիկ իրադարձություններից 7-ը գտնվում են ՀՀ տարածքում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ տարածաշրջանում գրանցվել է 4 երկրաշարժ 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ: Օգոստոսի 3-ին 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ ստորգետնյա ցնցումներ են տեղի ունեցել Թուրքիայում` (2.3 մագնիտուդ) Դիգոր քաղաքից 8 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք և Թուրքիա-Իրան սահմանային գոտում՝ (2.5 մագնիտուդ) Սարայ քաղաքից 19 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևելք: Նույն ուժգնությամբ (2.6 մագնիտուդ) հաջորդ ցնցումը գրանցվել է օգոստոսի 7-ին Իրանի Խոյ քաղաքից 35 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևելք: Օգոստոսի 9-ին Խոյից 52 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք գտնվող էպիկենտրոնով երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունը 5 բալ (3.6 մագնիտուդ) էր:
Տարածաշրջանից դուրս 6.0 և ավելի մագնիտուդով գրանցվել է 2 երկրաշարժ, երկուսն էլ` Չինաստանում: Օգոստոսի 8-ին 6.5 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել Չինաստանի Սիչուան նահանգում` Գուանյուան քաղաքից 200 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևմուտք: Երկրաշարժին հաջորդել է 4.2- 4.8 մագնիտուդով երեք հետցնցում: Նախնական տվյալներով,ստորգետնյա ցնցումների հետևանքով զոհվել է առնվազն 20 մարդ, վիրավորվել 431-ը, որոնցից 40-ը` ծանր: Վնասվել է 130 հազար շենք-շինություն, փակվել են ճանապարհները, ընդհատվել է էլեկտրամատակարարումը և բջջային կապը: Էպիկենտրոնային գոտում գտնվող Ցզյուչժայգոու վարչական շրջանի համանուն ազգային պարկում հազարավոր զբոսաշրջիկներ տարհանվել են անվտանգ տարածք: Որոնողափրկարարական աշխատանքներին մասնակցում են բժիշկներ, փրկարարներ և Չինաստանի ոստիկանության ավելի քան 1300 աշխատակից, ինչպես նաև սահմանապահ զորքերից: Նույն օրը Չինաստան-Ղազախստան սահմանային գոտում` Սինձյան-Ույղուրյան ինքնավար շրջանի Ուռումչի քաղաքից 382 կմ դեպի արևմուտք, տեղի է ունեցել հաջորդ ուժեղ երկրաշարժը, որն ունեցել է 6.3 մագնիտուդ: Վերջինիս հետևանքով, ըստ նախնական տվյալների, տուժածների թիվը հասել է 32-ի: 142 շինարարական կառույց է ավերվել, ևս 1060 շինություն վնասվել է: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումները Ղազախստանում զգացվել են մինչև 5 բալ ուժգնությամբ, հասնելով նույնիսկ Նովոսիբիրսկ:
