Վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդունել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության լորդերի պալատի անդամ, բարոնուհի Քերոլայն Քոքսի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել Քերոլայն Քոքսի հայանպաստ և մարդասիրական գործունեությունը, ինչպես նաև միջազգային ասպարեզում ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի արդարացի ներկայացմանն ուղղված քայլերը: Կարեն Կարապետյանը նշել է, որ հատկապես վերջին շրջանում հայ-բրիտանական հարաբերություններում նկատելի է ակտիվացում և կարևորել տնտեսական ոլորտում փոխգործակցության զարգացումը, գործարար կապերի խթանումը, այդ թվում՝ տարբեր համաժողովների կազմակերպման միջոցով: Կառավարության ղեկավարն ընդգծել է, որ երկկողմ տնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացման հարցն առարկայական կերպով քննարկել է նաև ՀՀ-ում մեծ Բրիտանիայի դեսպանի հետ և ավելացրել, որ կան հստակ պատկերացումներ հետագա քայլերի ուղղությամբ:
Բարոնուհի Քոքսը վարչապետի հետ խոսել է Հայաստան և Արցախ կատարած իր բազմաթիվ այցելությունների մասին և նշել, որ ջերմորեն կապված է հայ ժողովրդի հետ: Բարոնուհին ևս անհրաժեշտ է համարել հայ-բրիտանական տնտեսական համագործակցության զարգացումը, կարևորել միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերությունների խորացումը, բարձրաստիճան փոխայցելությունների կազմակերպումը: Տիկին Քոքսը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել հետագայում ևս իր գործունեությամբ աջակցել հայ ժողովրդին, նպաստել հայ-բրիտանական կապերի սերտացմանը:
