ՀՀ թիմերը մաթեմատիկական միջազգային ուսանողական օլիմպիադայում բարձր արդյունքներ են արձանագրել

Բուլղարիայի Բլագոևգրադ քաղաքում հուլիսի 31-ից օգոստոսի 6-ը տեղի է ունեցել 24-րդ մաթեմատիկական միջազգային ուսանողական օլիմպիադան (IMC), որին մասնակցել են աշխարհի 71 համալսարանի թիմեր (331 մասնակից): Մրցույթում Հայաստանը ներկայացրել են Երևանի պետական,  Հայաստանի Ամերիկյան և Սլավոնական համալսարանների թիմերը:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և տեղեկատվության վարչությունից, ՀՀ թիմերը բարձր արդյունքներ են արձանագրել՝ նվաճելով երկու ոսկե, երկու արծաթե և երկու բրոնզե մեդալ: Երևանի պետական համալսարանը ներկայացված էր 4 մասնակցով, որոնցից երկուսը՝ Ալբերտ Գևորգյանը և Վազգեն Միքայելյանը, արժանացել են ոսկե, իսկ Ավետիք Կարագուլյանը և Գևորգ Մնացականյանը՝ արծաթե մեդալների: Օլիմպիադան անց է կացվել և՛ անհատական, և՛ թիմային հաշվարկներով: Ալբերտ Գևորգյանն անհատական հաշվարկում զբաղեցրել է պատվավոր 15-րդ տեղը: Թիմային առաջնությունում Երևանի պետական համալսարանի թիմը գրավել է 7-րդ տեղը: Սա աննախադեպ արդյունք է ԵՊՀ-ի թիմի համար: Մինչ այս լավագույն արդյունքը թիմային հաշվարկում եղել է 15-րդ տեղը: Հայաստանի Ամերիկյան համալսարանի ուսանող Արտյոմ Քոսյանը և Սլավոնական համալսարանի սան Հրաչյա Քոչարյանն արժանացել են բրոնզե մեդալների:

Ուսանողական միջազգային օլիմպիադայում Հայաստանի թիմերը ղեկավարել և մարզել է ԵՊՀ և ՀԱՀ դասախոս Կարեն Քեռյանը, ով թիմի ղեկավարներից արդյունավետությամբ 4-րդն էր:

Մաթեմատիկայի միջազգային ուսանողական օլիմպիադայում առաջին տեղը զբաղեցրել է Իսրայելի ազգային թիմը, իսկ երկրորդ և երրորդ տեղերը գրավել են Պետերբուրգի պետական համալսարանի և Մոսկվայի ֆիզիկատեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի թիմերը:

IMC ուսանողական միջազգային մաթեմատիկական օլիմպիադան առաջին անգամ անց է կացվել 1994 թվականին:
