Միջազգային եւ տարածաշրջանային իրադարձությունների լույսի ներքո Սերժ Սարգսյանի այցը Հասան Ռոհանիի երդմնակալությանը շատ կարեւոր էր: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Իրանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արտաշես Թումանյանը: Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի վերաբերմունքը պատշաճ կերպով գնահատվել է իրանական կողմից:
Երդմնակալության արարողությանը մասնակցելուց բացի՝ Թեհրանում Հայաստանի նախագահը նաեւ առանձնազրույց է ունեցել իրանցի գործընկերոջ հետ: Քննարկվել են, մասնավորապես, տարածաշրջանային եւ միջազգային անվտանգության հարցեր, որոնք այսօր բավական արդիական են:
Մանրամասն անդրադարձ է եղել նաեւ տնտեսական հարցերին, այդ թվում` փոխադարձ ներդրումներին ու հատկապես ենթակառուցվածքային նախագծերին էներգետիկայի ու տրանսպորտի բնագավառներում: Դրանք կարող են կարեւոր դառնալ ինչպես երկու երկրների, այնպես էլ ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի համար:
Ուշադրություն է դարձվել Եվրասիական միության ու Իրանի միջեւ արտոնյալ առեւտրի համաձայնագրի հարցին. երկրների ղեկավարները հույս են հայտնել, որ մոտ ապագայում այն կստորագրվի:
Ընդ որում՝ արտոնությունների ցանկում ներառված ապրանքների մի մասը կարեւոր կլինի նաեւ երկկողմ` հայ-իրանական առեւտրի տեսակետից:
«Իրան-ԵՏՄ աշխատանքային խմբում Հայաստանն ամենաակտիվ մասնակիցներից է` հաշվի առնելով Իրանի հետ հարաբերությունների մեր բազմամյա փորձը: Իմ կարծիքով` իրանական կողմը պատշաճ կերպով հաշվի է առնում այդ ակտիվությունը եւ դրա նպաստը ԵՏՄ-ի հետ իր հարաբերություններում»,- հավելեց դեսպանը:
