Մարդկանց մեծ մասը սովորել են զսպել իրենց արցունքները, համարելով դա փոքրոգության, թուլության արտահայտում:

 

Ամերիկյան հետազոտողները զբաղվել են մարդկային արցունքների հետազոտությամբ և հանգել անսպասելի բացահայտման. արցունքը պարունակում է նյութեր, որոնք թուլացնում են ֆիզիկական ցավը և իրենց ազդեցությամբ հիշեցնում է մորֆիի:

 

Դրանից բացի` արցունքի բաղադրության մեջ հայտնաբերվել է մի նյութ, որն ունի բակտերիասպան հատկություն և պրոլակտին հորմոն, որը կանանց մոտ պատասխանատու է կերակող համակարգի համար:

 

Կախված այն հանգամանքից, թե ինչն է պատճառ հանդիսացել արցունքների համար, դրանց կենսաքիմիական բաղադրությունը տարբեր է լինում: Եթե մարդ լացում է տառապանքից և ֆիզիկական ցավից, նրա արցունքների բաղադրությունն այնպիսին է, որն ունի հանգստացնող հատկություն: Տոքսինները, որոնք առաջանում են սթրեսի հետևանքով, դուրս են գալիս արցունքների միջոցով: Ծիծաղի արդյունքում առաջացող արցունքները տարբերվում են բացասական արցունքներից իրենց կենսաքիմիական բաղադրությամբ: Դրանցում ավելի շատ սպիտակուցներ կան:

 

Լացելը կանանց արտոնությունն է: Թույլ սեռի ներկայացուցիչները 5 անգամ ավելի շատ են լաց լինում: Գիտնականները ապացուցել են, որ լացի և սրտանոթային հիվանդությունների միջև ուղղակի կապ կա: Պարզվել է, որ արցունքը դուրս հանելով բացասական զգացմունքները, դրանց լավագույն կանխարգելողն է: Եվ քանի որ տղամարդիկ սովոր չեն լացել, ու բոլոր անհաջողությունները վեապրում են լուռ և անարցունք, արդյունքում նրանք ավելի հաճախ են հիվանդանում սրտանոթային հիվանդություններով, ինչն էլ հանգեցնում է նրանց կյանքի առավել կարճ տևողությանը:

 

Նրանց մոտ, ովքեր քիչ են լաց լինում, առաջանում են աչքի խնդիրներ, ունենում են առավել շատ քրտնարտադրություն և տարբեր մաշկային հիվանդություններ:

 

Սթրեսային իրավիճակում ցանկացած մարդու համար անհրաժեշտ է հոգեբանական պաշտպանություն: Տարբեր մարդկանց մոտ դա արտահայտվում է տարբեր կերպ: Մեկը չարաշահում է ալկոհոլը, մյուսը նստում է ղեկին և վարում մեծ արագությամբ, երրորդը հայհոյում է, վիճում, կոտրում ափսեները: Հնարավոր է դրանից ինչ-որ չափով հանգստանում են: Սակայն այդ մեթոդներից ոչ մեկն իր արդյունավետությամբ չի կարող համեմատվել սովորական լացի հետ: Չէ՞ որ լացից հետո գալիս է հարաբերական անդորր, արցունքները մաքրում, հանգստացնում են և բացասական մտքերն ուղղորդում ճիշտ ուղղությամբ:
