Թուրքիայի ընդդիմադիր քրդամետ Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցության հայազգի պատգամավոր Գարո Փայլանը, խոսելով Մեջլիսում Հայոց ցեղասպանություն եզրույթն օգտագործելն արգելող նոր օրենքի մասին, նշել է, որ երկրի ընդդիմությունն ու փոքրամասնությունները՝ այդ թվում հայերը, հայտնվել են իշխանության շրջափակման և մեկուսացման մեջ: Այս մասին գրում է թուրքական amedtoday.org կայքը: 

«Շրջափակում և մեկուսացում, ահա այն, ինչը մենք վերապրում ենք հիմա Թուրքիայում: Ինչպես որ փողոցում մարդիկ չեն կարողանում խոսել և արտահայտվել, այնպես էլ Մեջլիսում են մեզ լռեցնում: Իշխանությունը ցանկանում է, որ երկրում տիրի վախի մթնոլորտը: Հայկական հարցը, քրդական հարցը միշտ եղել են այս երկրի տաբուն, և Էրդողանի կուսակցությունը ցույց տվեց, որ թեև իշխանության առաջին տարում նրանք երկրին բերեցին որոշակի ազատություններ, այս պահին անիվը ետ են շրջել դեպի ավանդական ռեժիմ», - ասել է Փայլանը: 

Փայլանը, ով իր կուսակիցների հետ շարունակում է Մեջլիսում ընդունված նոր օրենքի դեմ նստացույց անցկացնել Թուրքիայի Դիրաբեքիր քաղաքում նաև ընդգծել է, որ իրենք պայքարում են՝ շատ լավ գիտակցելով իրենց առաջ կանգնած վտանգները: 

«Մենք մարդիկ ենք, որոնք իրենց աչքի առաջ ունենալով վտանգը՝ մտել ենք պայքարի մեջ», - եզրափակել է Փայլանը: 

Հիշեցնենք, որ այս օրինագիծը ներառում է նաև Հայոց ցեղասպանության ու քրդաբնակ նահանգների մասին խոսելիս «Քուրդիստան» անվամբ հիշատակումների դեպքում պատգամավորներին դրամական տույժի ենթարկելու պահանջը: 

Կարո Փայլանն ամիսներ առաջ խորհրդարանում սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների վերաբերյալ նախագծի քննարկման ժամանակ ցեղասպանություն եզրույթի կիրառման համար զրկվել էր 3 նիստի մասնակցելու իրավունքից։
