«Տոտենհեմի» դարպասապահ Ուգո Լյորիսը բարձր է գնահատել «Յուվենտուսի» 39-ամյա դարպասապահ Ջանլուիջի Բուֆոնի մակարդակը.
«Բուֆոնի մեջ ինչ-որ առանձնահատուկ բան կա, դա դժվար է նկարագրելը:

«Երբ ես ավելի երիտասարդ էի, Բուֆոնն իմ կուռքն էր: Ջիջին և Իկերը շատ երիտասարդ տարիքում սկսել են խաղալ շատ բարձր մակարդակով, դա ինձ համար ոգեշնչման աղբյուր էր:
«Յուվեում» անցկացրած 16 մրցաշրջանից հետո Բուֆոնը ցույց է տալիս, որ ունի այն նույն ամբիցիաներն ու մոտիվացիան, ինչ` նախկինում: Այս տարիքում լավագույնը լինելու համար պետք է ավելի շատ աշխատել, քան` մյուսները: Հենց սրա համար է նա լավագույնը»,- եզրափակել է իր խոսքը Լյորիսը:
