Իրանի նախագահ Հասան Ռոուհանիի երդմնակալության արարողությանը մասնակցելու նպատակով ի թիվս միջազգային մի շարք պատվիրակությունների՝ Թեհրան է ժամանել նաև Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Տիգրան Սարգսյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով Irna գործակալությունը, Տիգրան Սարգսյանին ընդունել է Իրանի առաջին փոխնախագահ Էսհաղ Ջահանգիրին:

Կողմերը քննարկել են Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության և Իրանի միջև համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր, ինչպես նաև անդրադարձ կատարել ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Ռուսաստանի և Իրանի նկատմամբ պատամիջոցների նոր փաթեթի ընդունմանը:

Տիգրան Սարգսյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ ԵԱՏՄ-ի և Իրանի միջև ազատ տնտեսական գոտու ստեղծման մասին համաձայնագիրը մոտ ժամանակներս կստորագրվի: Մարտին Բիշքեքում  կայացած Եվրասիական միջկառավարական խորհրդի նիստում ԵԱՏՄ կառավարությունների ղեկավարները հաստատել են ժամանակավոր համաձայնագրի պատրաստմանն ուղղված աշխատանքների կազմակերպման հրամանագիրը, ինչը կբերի ազատ տնտեսական գոտու ստեղծման համաձայնագրի ստորագրմանը:

Իր հերթին, Էսհաղ Ջահանգիրին դատապարտելի և անհիմն է համարել ԱՄՆ –ի կողմից պատժամիջոցների կիրառումը: «ԱՄՆ-ի նոր և միակողմանի պատժամիջոցներն Իրանի ու Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ դատապարտելի և անհիմն են, և այս պայմաններում Եվրասիայի հնարավորությունների օգտագործումը կարող է նպաստել խնդիրների լուծմանը, որոնք ծառացած են որոշ երկրների՝ այդ թվում Իրանի ու Ռուսաստանի առջև»,- ասել է Ջահանգիրին:

Իրանի վերընտրված նախագահ Հասան Ռոուհանիի երդմնակալության արարողությանը մասնակցելու նպատակով Թեհրան են ժամանել ավելի քան 50 երկրի պատվիրակություններ: Իրանի նախագահի երդմնակալությանը ներկա գտնվելու նպատակով Իրանում են գտնվում Հայաստանի Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը, Եվրոպական միության արտաքին քաղաքականության և անվտանգության հարցերով բարձր ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինին, Ռուսաստանի փոխվարչապետ Դմիտրի Ռոգոզինը, Հյուսիսային Կորեայի խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Կիմ Յոն Նամը, պատվիրակություններ Պաղեստինից, Հարավային Կորեայից, Մոլդովայից և Լիբանանից:
