Օգոստոսի 4-ին ՀՀ ԱԻ նախարար Դ. Տոնոյանն աշխատանքային այցով եղել է ՀՀ Արագածոտնի մարզի Արտաշավան համայնքում գտվող ռադիոլոկացիոն կայանում: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԻՆ Տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Հայաստանում կարկտահարությունից պաշտպանության առավել արդյունավետ մեթոդներ ներդնելու նպատակով ներկայումս, ՀՀ կառավարության որոշմամբ, իրականացվում է պիլոտային ծրագիր, որի շրջանակում պետբյուջեի միջոցների հաշվին կատարվում է ռադիոլոկացիոն կայանի արդիականացում, որպեսզի այն կարողանա սպասարկել նաև նույն ծրագրով ՀՀ Արմավիրի և Արագածոտնի մարզերում ներդրվող նոր, ժամանակակից հրթիռային հակակարկտային կայանները: 

Այս օրերին Հայաստանում գտնվող ռուս բարձրակարգ մասնագետների օգնությամբ 1973թ. արտադրության կայանը համալրվում է նորագույն թվային սարքավորումներով, որի շնորհիվ՝

  • կբարձրանա դրա գործողության կայունությունն ու հուսալիությունը,
  • կապահովի ամպերի պարամետրերի չափման ճշգրտության բարձրացումը, հեռավերահսկողությունն ու կարգաբերումը.
  • կնվազեն սպասարկման ծախսերը: 

Բանակցությունների արդյունքում՝ ռուսական ընկերությունը նախատեսված 2 հակակարկտային հրթիռային կայանի հետ միասին, որպես նվիրատվություն, կտրամադրի ևս մեկ կայան: Սրանով պայմանավորված՝ 2 կայան կտեղադրվի Արագածոտնի, մեկն էլ Արմավիրի մարզում՝ ստեղծելով շղթայական պաշտպանության գոտի: 

Հաջորդ ամսին նոր կայաններն արդեն կլինեն Հայաստանում: Կայանների գործարկումը նախատեսվում է հոկտեմբերի սկզբին: Սա հնարավորություն կտա կարկտահարությունից հուսալի պաշտպանության տակ առնել շուրջ 45 հազար հա գյուղատնտեսական նշանակության հողատարածք: 

Ռադիոլոկացիոն կայանի արդիականացման հետ միաժամանակ կատարվում է համակարգի ենթակառուցվածքների հիմնանորոգում (հրթիռների պահպանության համար անհրաժեշտ պահեստների նախապատրաստում, կայանի շենքի վերանորոգում, կայանների տեղադրման վայրերի ուսումնասիրություն և այլն):

Գոհունակություն հայտնելով կատարված աշխատանքի վերաբերյալ՝ ՀՀ ԱԻ նախարարը հանձնարարեց հնարավորինս արագ ավարտել արդիականացումը և անցնել ծրագրի գործանական փուլին, ինչպես նաև ներկայացնել առաջարկներ՝ արդիականացված ռադիոլոկացիոն կայանի նոր հնարավորությունները տնտեսության այլ ոլորտներում օգտագործելու համար:
