«Վերջերս Ռուսաստանի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյա Վոլոդինը մեզ տեղեկացրեց, որ եթե Հայաստանի պետական երկրորդ լեզուն ռուսերենը լիներ, ապա հայ վարորդներն էլ ղրղըզ, ուզբեկ ու ղազախ վարորդների պես Ռուսաստանում ավտոմեքենա վարելու ու ավտոմեքենա վարելով եկամուտ ստանալու հնարավորություն կունենային:
Այս փաստը Հայաստանում բուռն քննարկումների, ավելի ճիշտ՝ բուռն քննադատությունների տեղիք տվեց: Նույնիսկ մեր ամենահիվանդագին ու ամենածայրահեղական ռուսամետները նպատակահարմար ու տրամաբանական չհամարեցին, որ ռուսաց լեզուն Հայաստանում կարող է երկրորդ պետական լեզու հռչակվել: Ճիշտ է, Հայաստանում ռուսամետներն ու ռուսասերները քչություն չեն անում, բայց դա, պարզվում է, բավարար չէ, որպեսզի ռուսաց լեզուն Հայաստանում երկրորդ պետական լեզու հռչակվի: Ավելի տրամաբանական կլիներ, եթե ռուսները Ուկրաինայի իշխանություններից պահանջեին ռուսաց լեզուն Ուկրաինայի երկրորդ պետական լեզու հռչակել, սակայն հասկանալի պատճառներով դա չեն անում, չնայած Ուկրաինայով ռուսները չափազանց լուրջ քանակություն են կազմում:
Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայաստանին, ապա, եթե առողջ տրամաբանությամբ առաջնորդվենք, ավելի շուտ հենց Ռուսաստանում պիտի հայերենին պետական երկրորդ, երրորդ կամ չգիտեմորերորդ պետական լեզվի կարգավիճակ տրվի, որովհետև հայերը Ռուսաստանում նույնիսկ տոկոսային առումով ավելի շատ են, քան ռուսները՝ Հայաստանում: Եվ ընդհանրապես՝ ինձ հայտնի չէ աշխարհում որևէ երկիր, որտեղ ավելի քիչ ռուսներ ապրեն, քան Հայաստանում: Դա նույնպես հիմք է, որպեսզի Հայաստանի բարձրաստիճանները հակադրվեին Վյաչեսլավ Վոլոդինին»,-գրում է թերթը:
