Թերեզա Մեյն իր մրցակցին գերազանցում Է միայն երեք տոկոսային կետով

Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյը ժողովրդականության վարկանիշով միայն 3 տոկոսով Է գերազանցում իր մրցակցին՝ լեյբորիստների առաջնորդ Ջերեմի Քորբինին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայում են YouGov-ի հարցման տվյալները:
Հարցման արդյունքների համաձայն, Մեյին աջակցում Է բրիտանացի ընտրողների 36 տոկոսն այն դեպքում, երբ Քորբինին՝ 33 տոկոսը: Նաեւ հարցման մասնակիցների շուրջ մեկ երրորդը (31 տոկոսը) դժվարացել Է որոշել վարչապետի լավագույն թեկնածությունը:
Ինչ վերաբերում Է կուսակցական նախապատվություններին, ապա այստեղ լեյբորիստները գերազանցել են պահպանողականներին. ի պաշտպանության Մեյի կուսակցության արտահայտվել Է ընտրողների 41 տոկոսը, իսկ լեյբորիստներին աջակցել Է 44 տոկոսը:
Վաղաժամկետ համընդհանուր ընտրությունները Մեծ Բրիտանիայում անցկացվել են հունիսի 8-ին: Դրանք Մեյի ղեկավարությամբ նախաձեռնվել Էին պահպանողականների կողմից, որպեսզի քաղաքական գործիչներին եւ հասարակությանը համախմբեն առաջիկա Brexit-ի լույսով, բայց ստացվեց հակառակը. Պահպանողականների կուսակցությունը խորհրդարանում կորցրեց բացարձակ մեծամասնությունը եւ հարկադրված եղավ փոքրամասնության կառավարություն ձեւավորել:
