Ամերիկյան ռմբակոծիչները կհետապնդեն Լուսնին

NASA-ն 2017 թվականի օգոստոսի 21-ին կգործարկի երկու WB-57F վերափոխված ռմբակոծիչներ, որոնք պետք Է Լուսնի ստվերին հետապնդեն Արեգակի խավարման ժամանակ: Դրանց քթին տեղակայված կլինեն մի քանի ոչ մեծ աստղադիտակներ՝ խցիկներով, որոնք նախատեսված են աստղագիտական երեւույթների դիտարկման համար: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Gizmodo հրատարակությունը:
Քանի որ խավարումը Երկրի մակերեւույթի անշաժ կետի վրա տեւում Է 160 վայրկյան, ինքնաթիռները գիտնականներին թույլ կտան դրան հետեւել փոքր-ինչ ավելի երկար՝ երեքուկես րոպե: Շահած ժամանակն այնքան Էր շատ չԷ, քանի որ Լուսնի ստվերը սլանում Է ժամում շուրջ չորս հազար կիլոմետր արագությամբ:
Արեգակի լրիվ խավարումը NASA-ին հազվագյուտ հնարավորություն կընձեռի հետազոտելու Արեգակի մթնոլորտը, այդ թվում՝ նրա արտաքին շերտը՝ պսակը: Գիտնականները ցանկանում են պարզել, թե ինչու արեւապսակի ջերմությունը մի քանի կարգով բարձր Է աստղի մակերեւույթի ջերմաստիճանից:
