Կինը ցնցվեց՝ անստորագիր նամակ ստանալով 5 տարի առաջ իրենից գումար հափշտակած անծանոթից. նամակում գումար էր և բացատրական երկտող, որում կողոպտիչը խոստովանում է, որ գումարը գողացել է թմրանյութ ձեռք բերելու համար: Ներկայացնում ենք նամակի բովանդակությունը։

Հինգուկես տարի առաջ ես տգեղ արարք եմ թույլ տվել՝ գողանալով ձեր դրամապանակը: Այն ժամանակ ես թմրամոլ էի, մեկը, ով անընդհատ փողի կարիք ուներ, և նրա համար մեկ էր, թե ումից կգողանա՝ հերթական չափաբաժինը ձեռք բերելու համար: Ես ծանոթ չէի ձեզ հետ. վերցրեցի ձեր Best Buy քարտը և ողջ կանխիկ գումարը, իսկ դրամապանակը նետեցի աղբարկղի մեջ:
Դրանից հետո ես բուժվեցի, և արդեն չորս տարի է, ինչ բնականոն կյանք եմ վարում: Բոլորովին վերջերս հին իրերի մեջ ես գտա ձեր քարտը, կարդացի ձեր անունը և պարզեցի, թե որտեղ եք աշխատում:
Ինձ համար դժվար է պատկերացնել, թե ինչ տառապանք եմ ձեզ պատճառել իմ արարքով: Գիտեմ, որ իմ արարքը աններելի է, սակայն կամենում եմ վերադարձնել ձեզ այդ գումարը: Ես այլևս երբեք մարդկանց վնաս չեմ պատճառի և մաքուր, արժանապատիվ կյանքով կապրեմ:

Կինն, իհարկե, երբեք չէր սպասում նման բովանդակությամբ նամակի, առավել ևս՝ տարիների առաջ կորցրած գումարը վերադարձնելուն, այնուամենայնիվ, նման դեպքեր պատահում են: Սա հրաշալի վկայություն է այն բանի, որ երբեք էլ ուշ չէ զղջալու և ուղղվելու համար:
