Достаточно высокая температура воздуха в Армении влияет также и на сферу сельского хозяйства. Сегодня в ходе пресс-конференции заместитель министра сельского хозяйства Армении Ашот Арутюнян представил несколько советов фермерам в связи с проводимыми в садах работами.

«Несмотря на достаточно высокую температуру днем, ночью температура воздуха не превышает +26 °C, то есть для растений – это не критическая отметка», – отметил замминистра.

А. Арутюнян призвал фермеров проводить работы по обработке садов рано утром или же – поздно вечером.

«В районах, где нет проблем с оросительной водой, по возможности нужно эффективно организовать порядок орошения, насколько это возможно использовать воду в ночное время.

Что же касается фермеров, которые всегда поливают сады в дневное время, желательно, чтобы не они прекращали орошение в жаркое дневное время и выключали воду уже в ночное время или на рассвете», – отметил он.

Что касается хранения уже собранного урожая,  во избежание потерь и отравлений, А. Арутюнян посоветовал хранить урожай в тени, в подвалах или под деревьями.
