Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ-ն Վենեսուելայի կողմերին կոչ է անում դադարեցնել «անիմաստ ուժային դիմակայությունը»։ ՌԴ ԱԳՆ հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է․ «ցավոք նշում ենք, որ ընդդիմադիր ուժերը ոչ միայն չեն արձագանքել ընտրություններին մասնակցելու կոչին, այլեւ ձգտել են խանգարել դրանց, սադրելով առանձին բախումներ, որոնք մարդկային զոհերի պատճառ են դարձել»։

«Համարում ենք, որ անցած քվեարկությունը հստակ ազդանշան է տվել այն մաիսն, որ անհրաժեշտ է երկրի ճգնաժամը հաղթահարել քաղաքական միջոցներով , երկխոսության ուղով, գործող օրենսդրության շրջանակում, ժողովրդական կամքի արտահայտման հիման վրա ու առանց արտաքին միջամտությունների։

Մենք հույս ունենք, որ տարածաշրջանային ու համաշխարհային համայնքի այն ներկայացուցիչները, որոնք որքանով կարելի է դատել, մտադիր են չընդունել վենեսուելյան ընտրությունների արդյունքները ու ուժեղացնել Կարակասի վրա ճնշումները, կդրսեւորեն զսպվածություն ու կհրաժարվեն իրենց ապակառուցողական ծրագրերից, որոնք կարող են խորացնել հասարակության բեւեռացումը։ ՀԻմա հատկապես կարեւոր է խուսափել բռնության հերթական ալիքից, որպեսզի այն չվերածվի դիմակայության նոր ձեւերի։ Անհրաժեշտ է ստեղծել նորմալ պայմաններ, այդ թվում արտաքին, որպեսզի Սահմանադիր ժողովը կարողանա դնել վենեսուելյան հասարակությունում առկա հակասությունների խաղաղ կարգավորման, ազգային համաձայնության ապահովման, բարեփոխումների իրականացման հիմքերը»,- նշվում է հայտարարության մեջ։
