Ընդունված է ասել, որ մարմնի կատարյալ քաշը այն չափն է, որ ունենում ենք 18 տարեկանում: Ցանկալի է այն պահպանել ողջ կյանքում: Սակայն եթե դուք վերջին 15-20 կամ ավելի տարում հեռացել եք կատարյալ քաշից, կարիք չկա ցանկացած գնով վերադարձնելու այն: Չէ՞ որ յուրաքանչյուր 10 տարին մեկ օրգանիզմը սկսում է մոտ 10%-ով ավելի քիչ էներգիա ծախսել: Համապատասխանաբար 10 տարին մեկ մեր մարմնի քաշը ավելանում է 5-7 կգ-ով:
Բրոկի բանաձևը
Տղամարդկանց համար մարմնի կատարյալ քաշը = (հասակը սանտիմետրերով- 100) x 1,15
Կանանց համար մարմնի կատարյալ քաշը = (հասակը սանտիմետրերով- 110) x 1,15
Օրինակ. 170 սմ հասակ ունեցող կնոջ համար մարմնի կատարյալ քաշը հավասար է (170-110)x 1,15= 69 կգ:
Սա հավանաբար ձեզ կհիշեցնի «հասակ հանած հարյուր»՝ տղամարդկանց համար, «հասակ հանած 110»՝ կանանց համար ավանդական բանաձևը: Սա իհարկե այդ բանաձևի կատարելագործված տեսակն է: Բանն այն է, որ նախկին տարբերակը բոլորից պահանջում էր լինել ֆիթնես-մոդելներ՝ հաշվի չառնելով ոչ տարիքը, ոչ էլ մարմնի կազմվածքը: Այդ պատճառով էլ գիտնականները առաջարկում են նոր, ավելի իրատեսական տարբերակ:
